Well duh, mini Gnar is supposed to be one of the best kiters in the game. Gnar is a hard to play champ, but not because one of his two forms is ranged.

the bigger problem for me is that you can't kill mini gnar even if you catch him, as he can go fulltank and still deal more than enough damage...

What do you mean you can't avoid ranged auto attacks, just farm under tower dude.

Gnar literally has the best of both worlds. He has great poke and mobility and he has great tankyness and CC.

and towards the end of the game, he doesnt need to do much but use his brain dead r which drags u from one side of the damn map to a random wall 500 miles away for a stun into his w. fun!

Gnar's CC on his ult is amazing. Somebody tries to towerdive and is now escaping? Ult them into you. Don't want to deal with their crap and just want to leave? Ult them away. His Mini form E is awesome too. I got a double kill on an opposing towerdive because of random hopping around and letting the tower do the work.

the one thing i dont understand as to why he has that w passive. how is it fair for a melee to play vs that? u legit give him everything and then nerf anyone who can catch up to him ( riven,darius) and dont help them ease the lane whatsoever.

Yeah, the W passive is a bit unnecessary. I assume it was so the W would be something in Mini form, but it gives him a bit too much mobility/safety for a tank toplane champion.
