Rito pls thornmail deals magic damage to attackers it need to proc liandrys!

Plus if the target have his MS reduced from randuim omen then the passive of liandrys that deal double damage if the enemy target have his MS slowed/stunned/etc need to work too!!

And for me sunfire and the jungle burn item need to proc liandrys BECAUSE THIS 2 ITEMS DEAL MAGIC DAMAGE

It isn't about dealing magic damage, it is about which is classified as spell damage.

This. For instance, Ashe's Volley (W) triggers Liandry's Torment and it is a physical damage spell.

Unique Passive: Dealing **spell **damage applies a damage-over-time effect that deals bonus magic damage equal to 2% of the target's current health per second for 3 seconds.

The passive from the frog (The jungle monster that give you the baby thornmail) proc liandrys! so you were saying??

By that logic that rito code this game they need to make thornmail passive to proc liandrys!!

Unless it's an exception or is simply a design oversight that is gonna get fixed sooner or later.

Either way, when it says that a passive only applies to spell damage, it should only mean damage dealt from a champion's kit other than AA (and some other stuff), be it AD, AP or true damage.

No. Gromp is a buff, It counts as a spell.

sunfire is a buff too (according to rito coding)

So why dosent proc liandrys?

As you can see there is not reason why sunfire and thornmail dosent proc liandrys but the buff from the frog does it

Hextech Gunblade is one of only three items still available that apply "spell effects." The other two are Bilgewater Cutlass and Blade of the Ruined King.

Because it would be extremely broken.

If TM proced Liandry's, it would proc SpV and Rylai's because it would then proc Spell Effects.
