what if vaynes silver bolts had a alignment system

its description is "vayne tips her bolts with a rare matal, toxic to evil things" now i ask what if theres a alignment system that interacts with that damage output. more evil the target is = more damage dealt.... while it does the opposite to "good or neutral" targets example lux is good so it deals lesser damage while neutral receives a little bit more but not crazy damage.

She hunts what she thinks is evil from her perspective, even if it isn't evil. According to her lore she killed innocent shape shifters because she thought they were evil

Also having Vayne randomly buffed vs some champs is just a bad design

im guessing you can look at it that way since witch hunters are afraid (therefore hates) what they dont understand.

This would be along the same vein as brand not being damaged by ignite. They're not going to do it, because gameplay consistency is too important.

wouldnt it make it have somewhat deeper gameplay mechanics or at least knowledge?

I would call it more convoluted and unnecessary, as you'd need knowledge about 140+ champs to know exactly how much damage you would deal to them. Plus coding that would be a nightmare for no reason.

Good and evil is rather subjective; Noxians, though cruel, are not really evil, rather authoritarian. Demacians, though portrayed as "good", have done many bad things, like the oppression of mages. The Ascended also have their share of good and evil... It goes on and on.

im guessing it varies from person to person in terms of perspective.

Hey, this is not a D&D, W40k or Magic game.

Stuff like that don't work here.

her w does need mechanical counterplay added, but there is no absolute morality system in league.

even in DnD they mostly got rid of absolute morality. you can play chaotic evil paladins in recent editions, if it aligns with the gods theyre serving.

dragons arent color coded by alignment either anymore. its possible to encounter a good chromatic dragon and an evil metallic dragon now. it was kindof a dumb design anyways.
