I see Lee Sin or Yasuo in every game and I'm bored of it

Before you start telling me "Oh, those champs have pretty easy counterplay," I know. I don't typically complain about things, but I see either Lee Sin and Yasuo picked in literally 100% of my games, and I'm incredibly bored with the game as a whole right now because of it.

They aren't OP - not by a long shot. They have they're strengths and weaknesses, and for both of them it's pretty obvious. Yasuo is melee, stay out of range of him and dodge his knockup and you'll pretty much just kill him. CC absolutely destroys him easily. Lee Sin is only really strong in the early game and falls off very hard in the late game - if he doesn't get his lanes or himself snowballing early, he's basically useless for the whole game.

My biggest problem is how often they're picked. I wouldn't be opposed to nerfing them just to have their pick rates drop, but I know that nerfing them to lower a high pick rate is unnecessary. Buffing someone else up so that they can attract some of the people playing them could be a good idea, but again probably not the best idea. Honestly, I can't think of anything that would get their pick rates lowered effectively short of an entire meta shift.

The plain and simple fact of the matter, at this point, I have been seeing one or both of them picked near 100% of the time in the past several weeks, and I'm incredibly bored with playing with/against them.

So what you're saying is that you dont give a damn what other people enjoy playing more or less. Thats kind of a dumb argument. Your opinion really shouldnt dictate what other people like to play. If people enjoy playing those champions they should play them. It's a game, so fun is the entire point.

Not at all. What I'm saying is that how often they are picked is kind of insane and makes the game incredibly boring after a while. Instead of "Wow, that was a really cool flash kick that Lee Sin did! I got outplayed!" now I'm thinking "another Lee Sin flash kick... Yayyyyy..." And it doesn't seem to be that these people enjoy playing these champions because they were never really this popular before these past few patches. It was incredibly rare to see a Yasuo or Lee Sin before the preseason and even more rare to see a good one (well, less so Yasuo, but still), but now one or the other is in about 95% of games I play. It's just a bit insane.

When I actually get to play Yasuo, I normally get a Lee on my team. Other than that... I basically see neither at all. Lee Sin may have more presence due to the fact that basically no one bans him. But I can't say the same for Yasuo. I just wish more people would admit what you did... that there is obvious counterplay for them both. There's literally no need to nurf them at this time. My guess is that you've been unlucky in your matches lately as far as who's being picked. Though Lee Sin's pick rate is extremely high overall.

Could be. I've been mostly playing Ranked Flex, the game placed me in bronze 5 (in 3 of my first 5 placement matches, I had people literally running down mid which dragged my MMR way down since the first 5 influence it more than the second 5) and I've been seeing them picked pretty much every game, especially since I finished placements. You also don't expect Lee Sins to be pulling off full, perfect flash kick combos in bronze 4, though several of the people I've played with have had gold borders.

Your description of their counterplay is like saying "Just stay out of Annie's range and she can't ult stun you xd"

Well yeah, that is Annie's biggest counterplay. Pick someone who can hit her from longer range than she can hit you (ahem Syndra) and she'll just fall apart, especially when that person has a stun and insane burst on top of that range (AHEM SYNDRA).

Ban them. I ban Yasuo in 100 percent of my games and I actually enjoy the game since hes not in it.

I don't always have a ban and, when I do, there are more worthwhile bans typically. I try to ban people that I would rather not face in lane, and since I'm an ADC main, that's typically going to be Vayne or someone else who I would prefer to not see as the enemy ADC/Support.

I main mid and top so. I'd just rather keep the cancer to a minimum.

Makes sense.

I wasn't complaining about balance or a lack of counterplay, simply their pick rate and how bored of playing with/against them I am. I can play against them just fine.

Yeah, I got too use to Yasuo. Didn't seem much of a problem anymore when playing against him. He's pretty easy for me to counter now. I haven't seen enough of JarvanIV, or Nunu , or evemZilean . And where are the RekSai players? Where are my fellow Corki mains? I haven't been playing as Corki in awhile but I haven't seen other Corki players either. He's a powerful champion, too so he should be a convenient marksman to play as.

Have to agree. Don't think either is overpowered necessarily although Yasuo is a bit too strong imo if he gets a slight lead. I don't understand why people always pick these champs. I mean Lee sin is obviously good in the jungle but so area lot of other jungles and yasuo is not really all that great top or mid because most people just end up feeding and being worthless with him. I wish we could see more diversity .
