Riot's April Fools made me realize something.

It's crazy how much salt is cut from the game when you don't have access to /All chat.

I think i'll start playing with /all chat turned off. I don't have to see the chat filled with rage, nagging, braging and an the overwhelming negative attitude that can float over the game.

I would occasionally answer to the enemy whenever i got tilted, which while i know that is wrong, knowing that i can't chat with the enemy removes the temptation to reply to them, thus reducing my tilt level.

Sure you won't get to see the occasional funny guy, but overall it makes the game more bearable.

Im usually the person who writes a lot in /all chat about how my day is going and general game stuff, so this kinda made me lonely.

What's even more impressive is how mechanically dull the game has become, that it's not even unreasonable to think that you could use some type of pattern learning software to make the bots actually play similar to players.

Maybe that's because AI is so good now, or maybe it's because the game has become simple enough that a few basic core play patterns are all you really need to be successful in 9/10 games.
