Malzahar R is fine except that it currently does too much damage without proper set up.

Riot took all the damage his voidlings used to do and funneled it back into his other 3 abilities while making his voidlings useless farm tools. I wish that one day they would make the voidlings part of his actual kit again.

I mean you did get silenced and then walk back into the gank when he had his flash up and you could have walked to the raptors. Pretty silly mistake if you ask me.

Outplayed, but I agree that it took the skill level requirements a small kitten could manage to make the play happen.

Yeah Malzahar is a pretty brain dead champ if you ask me. Safe gameplay involving endlessly e q the wave, safer cause passive. He makes up for it tho because his ult is so hard to hit.

Actually, it is. Its almost apples to oranges levels of different. Malz stun is longer He also has dot in E and then after it ends he silences you not to mention the voidlings he has along with any teammates or junglers.

Compare this to Annie who has to use 4 abilities then flash ult then all she has is a bear and maybe 1 or 2 useful spells along with the fact that she doesn't have a spell shield which also happens to have damage and you can easily follow up on her flashing by just hitting her a few times with some spells

Obviously they are different. I was talking about the fact that the instant flash lockdown are similar. You play a lot differently if you know Malzahar flash is down. Same with Annie.

Btw Malz locks you down for follow up. Annie will straight up delete you.

I know annie does more damage, never said my opinion on it. Was just criticizing yours. Of course annie will deal more damage then malz. But when both of their ult combos mean instant death, it basically doesn't matter. Pick malz if you need a free spell shield. Pick annie if you want more CC.

I still dont know why your talking about kits. Im just comparing Flash ults in general and how its really not a problem with counterplay when flash is on Cooldown. I used Annie as a comparison because how the flash ult combo is similar. Stay on topic plz.

Because the entire point of this post is talking about how there isn't much counterplay to malz flash > ulting you. then, you respond to my OP about an off topic sentence about annie. This threat is about malz, not annie. Stay on topic plz. :-)

Its not off topic. Annie flash ult does the same thing and no one is complaining about that. Hurr Durr Balanced.

Seriously though when Flash is on CD Malz Ult is not much of a threat unless you're Melee or he sits in a sweeped bush or someone else locks you down.
