Laning against LeBlanc is pretty miserable. But I had an idea.

I get that LeBlanc isn't the strongest right now. However, she is horrible to lane against. She can't be ganked, does stupid damage that involves a lot of point and click, has insane oengage range, and has ranged abilities, one of which is hard CC!

However, I think the thing I hate the most is that you can't trade with her because she can just blink away from you after her combo.

So I had an idea: what if her Distortion made her wait 0.5/0.75 seconds before she could blink back, BUT, this delay would be removed and made instant as soon as she popped a Sigil of Malice mark?

The reason I think this is good is because you would have time to counterplay her WQR combo, which doesn't have counterplay otherwise.

Also, before 6, if she tries to WQE, but misses E, she can get punished for failing her combo because she can't instantly blink back. If she lands it though, she's fine.

Finally, this would promote more QW combos in lane, because it would be more reliable than her other combos before 6. However, this combo has more counterplay than her other combos because she has to get nearer to you to pull it off, so her effective zone potential would be less.

These changes would make her a little bit weaker, so I wouldn't mind if they buffed her in some way, whether that's base stats, mana costs, cooldowns, damage, or whatever. I'm not asking for her to be gutted. I'm just saying that she has an extremely oppressive laning phase, and it's kind of unfair.

Which champs are you playing against her? She has weaknesses... for example, her abilities are high CD. If you can figure out when they are on CD, you should be able to poke or exchange with her then. It's also ideal to buy mr or health on the first buy back when vsing her.

idk what u r thinking with making it impossible for her to blink back to her original spot

it basically is counter intuitive to Lb as a champion

anyway if league has not nerfed yet within 2 patches and it being a new season and all (and more testing has already been conducted on lb anyway in the PBE before)

then i think it is safe to say that the champion is at least slightly balanced

so dont go asking for changes if u dont understand the impact of what you are doing

because if u ask for this... who know u might ask for Zed to no be able to blink to his shadow if he can e and q with it too

So, what is the compensation for this really massive nerf? Most posts about leblanc often miss this out which I assume come from people who play leblanc at a casual level.

You are making a ranged squishy go teleport in front of them to just say "BOO"stand there doing nothing. What sort of kit is this? Sounds really similar to urgots ult which is one of the prime reasons he is considered a rework.

So well you guys are asking this champ to be unplayable. Then of course balancing will take course.

I blame TLD.

A LB can one shot any adc even if she misses 1 or 2 of her abilities.

Whenever I play more bursty/assassin opponents, I tend to play more passively and reactively. Velkoz has range as an advantage, so try take advantage of that.

This is my best guess as how to play against a LB as Vekloz: If you move around, and she misses her E after she W, that is a good opportunity to trade with her. Use the tectonic disruption where her landing pad is (where she will go back to).
