its a snare not a stun, you can still use abilities.

To fix Ryze, this is what needs to be done: The shield needs to go. Completely. He can keep the move speed boost, but the shield is irritating. Rune Prison needs to have the durations slashed hard. As in 0.5s when cast normally, and 1s when cast on a marked enemy. That, or have the duration extend the closer the enemy is to Ryze. That will give him counterplay as melee characters can still bludgeon him if he wants to lock them down hard.
