Hello and welcome to the tank update discussion.
As you probably know the tank update will hit us in patch 7.9(I hope in only a week or two) which will be affecting Sejuani, Zac, and Maowkai.
I would like to wonder why Zac of all tanks was chosen instead of a more binary one such as

actually feels decently powerful, I just wish his ult had more 'oomph' to it
im fairly neutral about thus far. his Q has a really weird targeting for the second half and it's throwing me off a fair bit. i like the Q but not the R, the bouncy ult he has now is way more fun
jinxedchef2 votesI think they choose more popular champs, because seemingly the idea isn't to make playable champs but to kill the entire class as a whole.
Variks the Loyal1 votesI think they decided to go with Sej, Zac, and Mao because they have pretty modern visuals and just needed ability changes.
Rammus and Malphite are on the list to get a visual update, so any work right now could potentially take away from a large update in the future.
junglerboy161 votesThey already stated that Rammus and Malphite need full scale relaunches like Poppy/Galio etc. Bigger than these small class updates can handle.
