Stop expecting me to follow the enemy mid who roamed bot. The game is not based around kills. I will ping mia so I expect you to back off. I will just push the lane and get some tower damage while the enemy mid misses cs. 15 cs = 1 kills, so I won't be behind the enemy mid unless he/she gets a double kill. You shouldn't even get double killed because I told you to back off. If the enemy mid keeps roaming without success I will eventually get tower, maybe even 2. I guess this whole ardent meta in the past 10 patches made adc players so spoiled that they can't tolerate not being the main carry of the team. It also made enchanter support players only care about their adc instead of their whole team. Right now I am seeing Tristana players jump into the enemy team and insta die because they think ardent cancer will allow them to 1v5 lul. This is exactly like what happened in season 3. I remember when I thought adc players were the most respectful players earlier this season, and that is because they actually had to play properly in order to do well.

Depends on the situation, really.

  • If you can 1v1 them you should roam bot, if you can't then stay.
  • If it's someone like katarina who needs 1 kill to get back into the game, you should roam bot.
  • If you think they are going to get fed and take a tower if you don't follow, you should roam bot.
  • If you can win a 3v3 you should roam bot, if not then stay.
  • If you see your jungler heading there and it's going to be a 4v3, you should roam bot.
  • If the enemy ADC is a hypercarry who needs to be shut down, you should roam bot.
  • If there's a dragon worth fighting for and you can win it, roam bot.
  • If you just hit a power spike and the other guy didn't, you should go bot.
  • If you are playing bleeping Galio and just hit 6, you should go bot.
  • If your ADC has 4 kills and you don't want a shut-down to happen, you should go bot.

However...

  • If you can take the tower, you should stay.
  • If you think going bot will cause you to feed, you should stay.
  • If the enemy shoved the lane in, you should stay.
  • If your bot lane is already feeding, you should stay.
  • If you've got no vision of the river, you should consider staying.

Yeah I will totally follow that zed/syndra/fizz who is sitting in a bush waiting to 100-0 me. I will maybe follow if I am 0/0/0 or better, but if I am 0/1/0 or worse, I would try not to get another death.

it is really situation some time you should follow your lane, some time following your lane will result in your quick death and bot is still ganked, but some time you time those counter ganks perfectly and end up getting triple kill and a tower.

there is no golden rule to follow or not to follow the lane, it depends on your judgement of the situation, but what i see too often is that people don't keep an open mind about these stuff and stubbornly follow what they believe is right. ( which more often then not is proven wrong and they will just go in to denial)

Some mid laners shouldn't follow their laner... Especially if you're playing a weak early game champion, such as Veigar, Anivia, Cassiopeia, Diana, Lissandra, etc. :)

Weak early game champions may or may not be able to provide any assistance.

When has ADC players been respectful? Majority of ADC's were extremely toxic. I see zero difference between Season 3 and Season 7. Except Vayne have become a Meme.
