@Riot, at least put a "cooldown" an annie's stun.

It's retardedly toxic how she can CONSTANTLY threaten you with a stun. If she is supporting, if you try to trade, you get Tibber-gibbed for 600 health and aoe stunned instantly for 1.5 seconds.

Maybe make it so she can only hold her passive for 10-20 seconds?

Just no. Build a QSS or get MR, and learn to play against her and click on her to see how many stacks she has before going all in. She is just fine where she is.

Don't you dare bring my rank into a topic about a champion. Not cool.

Can't even take your opinion about annie seriously since you're bronze 5 you've probably only played against ad annies

My opinion matters no matter what my rank is. You are very mean. And fyi, I have played against only AP Annie's. And when I play her, I go full AP and wreck the crap out of people, even those that are good players. So stop bringing my rank into this. My opinion matters!

The problem with that is you can't get a QSS like 10 minutes into the game so when she hits 6 she's going to flash ult you and there's not much you can do except burn all your sums usually, and then you get back into lane and boom she ults you again cause she has Tibbers and has been building stun while you were gone.

I'm not so sure flash ult Annie is a good thing to do. Even in my elo, I have never seen an Annie play that way, and I don't play that way with her either, as I could need my flash to get out of a sticky situation if it arrives. Her ult has a good radius so in lane I can hit it quite well. Also, a good Annie won't just stun ult you at full health just as she hits 6, as once that stun goes off and you still have health you can get away. When I play Annie, I poke my enemy down a bit before getting my stun and hitting Tibbers. Even if you can't get a QSS early, play safe, stay out of her range, and you will be fine. Call for ganks if she is getting to be to much.

The reason annie goes distortion boots is so she can flash alot sooner for surprise engages

Don't know why my post was downvoted. I was being helpful. Nothing bad about it. I can see people getting distortion boots if she plays that way, but I have never seen an Annie play that way in my whole time of playing league (which isn't long, but still its saying something).

Most people take the ss cd mastery and distortion boot just to have flash up eve sooner.

Sadly no it really isn't saying anything. You admit you haven't played long, which means you have little experience and really haven't gotten a chance to see how champions really play. Flash+Tibbers is pretty much THE way you play Annie as support, and hell even mid lane. Why? Because compared to many MANY champs in the game Annies range, even with Tibbers AoE added to it, is still subpar and out ranged by damn near every other ranged champion in the game that sees consistent play. This means against competent players she NEEDS to flash+tibbers in order to close the gap and set things up, additionally if she is support she tends to buy talisman and righteous glory to further help make up for this weakness.

The reason your first post got down voted is because it contained a lot of misinformation about how Annie is played, in terms of her use of flash and really trying to make her range sound better than it really is and you are talking about poking people down when Annie has nothing in her kit that makes her really good at poking and as a result you are pretty much revealing you are playing against bad people that don't know how to play against Annie. This all results in a post full of misinformation coming from experience that is simply lacking.

SnugglePuggle941 votes

That's why I haven't seen flash and Tibbers, as it is mainly support that Annie's do that. I play her almost always mid lane, and never have the need to flash ult. Just like any mid champ I take, I poke during laning phase, get their health down a bit before they hit 6, then ult with my stun. Sure her kit isn't that well made for poking and I mainly use my Q for farming but if they are harrassing me I will hit them with a W every so often, but I have never had the intent to reveal I was playing against bad people or players. I will have been playing for a year this fall and I have seen plenty of Annie players, some exceptionally good and some that are god awful. But I still think my post had some good information even if I didn't have all the information, so I wasn't lacking.

You have a good instinct about that. People were saying, since like years ago, that Annie isn't a great pick as a mage anymore because she would have to flash to get an engage in a lot of situations, unnecessarily burning a long cooldown, because what she brings is so lacking compared to other picks. Meanwhile, on G&B now, you get threads complaining about how Annie is OP because flashing onto and bursting a low health target is "unfair". Even though any champ could do that.

Because this is an "Annie OP, no-skill" thread and you weren't demanding nerfs.

SnugglePuggle941 votes

Yea because I don't think she needs nerfs just because people are complaining about her flash ult stun play. There are ways to counter her even if there are only a few.

When you said cooldown on Annie's stun, I thought you meant wait 10 seconds after she uses it. I think THAT would help counterplay a bit. She already has incentive to not hold the stun too long, but she can instantly get it back after she uses it.

part of the problem is that she can essentially get a free, animationless charge out of her E.

Giving her e an animation would nerf her a good amount. i think it'd be way too much tho.
