I'm tired of my favorite champion being in this state of Purgatory over his ult, right now it's the only reason he's a competitive pick and he's pretty ineffective in any matches outside pro. Just nerf his ult and put some power back in the rest of his kit so people outside of the professional tier can use him again.

Then the same jarvan came back to lane, missed half his abilities at level 6, and killed me with half his health left because I did zero damage and my ult is useless by myself.
Honestly my least favorite champion in the game.

First, AD Jarvan is extremely item reliant for his damage. He's not going have those items if he's 0/3. Second, like most burst champions, he struggles against tanks. There is absolutely no way he bursted a 3/0 tank to death while being massively behind. Third, most of Jarvan's damage is in his abilities which you claim he missed. The rest of his damage would be from autos which Shen counters.

I think you misunderstood and that's probably my fault. First, I made some mistakes myself. I was building tri force, and planning to build tank later. We were pretty even on CS, so he wasn't massively behind, but a good 900 or so. We were level 5 when he came back to lane and he started poking me with q, so I was actually ~200 hp below full hp. Might have been more or less, idk. He went in at level 6 when I was, and we both went all-in. He missed his e-q, hit his ult, then hit a q. so 2/4 abilites counts as missing half. As to how he outdamaged me so much, I have no idea. Pretty fuzzy on it. So it's within the realm of possibility.

WalkingInACircle1 votesI don't have these problems as Shen in lane myself. Just trade with your w and escape with your e. Don't use e aggressively unless you're very confident. You can q farm under tower very easily. Later when you finish sunfire and Titanic you do plenty of damage.
