Since we're ruining Nimbus Cloak, can we get another decent option in its tier?

The other two choices are pretty terrible if you're manaless.

Overall, the Nimbus Cloak change makes sorcery primary pretty undesirable if you're manaless.

Ruining? Holy shit boards, the worst part is that this is even upvoted...

It already got nerfed on PBE, its STRONGER than before.

Most champs have ult with long cast times/channel other stuff that makes it not as good on most champs, while it being on a summoner basically means every single champ in the game can use it and its reliable, it makes your flash also have a ghost on it for free, imagine how ungankable mages are going to be with this + flash + barrier.

Funny because it gave more MS on an effectively lower CD before.

Idk how you interpret that as a "buff" outside of shapeshifters.

If you think runes should be inclusive to everyone, lets remove manaflow band, presense of mind, etc in favor of something more inclusive toward half the roster.

Basically instead of when you ult you get the MS when you use a summoner 1 min internal CD.

Additionally, they changed it from 100 flat ms to 150 flat ms...and then changed it again to 15%-45% based on the activating summoner spell's CD.

So basically, its trash now considering its only a 2.5 second MS boost. Not even useful for the majority of TP plays.

Its only going to make cheese picks more successful early.

They did that cuz smite became ghost with lower cd.

only champ i could ever see this being highly successful on is zoe and maybe junglers, and thats if it's internal cooldown was put to a more reasonable level (10-20 seconds)

I think that the Nimbus Cloak on PBE right now is too broken to go live. You get Super Flash and Super Ghost, which means... it becomes mandatory. Take Smite to lane, and now you have mini-ghost on a 60s CD just from smiting a minion (no jg item required).

How about, change Nimbus Cloak back, and just give us %4.5 MS on Celerity?

Ultimates often had a much lower CD than summoner spells, and 100 flat MS was VERY often worth MUCH more than the values you'll get out of the new rune.

The new Nimbus Cloak will be good for cheesy kills and that's it. If you're going to talk about the smite usage, it'll be a phage with lower up time.

It is in no way stronger than its old iteration. They're basically gutting the rune.

I wonder why. Then again, I don't know why they kept nerfing Celerity to the ground, either.

Hmmm... I could smite and execute with Phage to get it back to 120 MS... Anyway, I guess this does open up the rune a bit. Worse for the champions who loved it, mediocre for champions who wouldn't have taken it.

It's not bad. It's really not bad.

And... I mean, you asking a Garen? That was a huge counter to Garen before the rework. Null Orb, and don't worry about Garen Ult in your lane. That's facing GAREN; facing a mage it must come in handy... Hexdrinker for AP casters...

Anyway - presumably that's what was taken before. Nimbus is only really good on a few champions, I think. Most champions don't engage with their Ult...

To be fair, Nimbus Cloak was already questionable when they replaced Ultimate Hat with it. It really didn't make a ton of sense, and still doesn't, as to why there's so much movement speed buffs built into the tree that is supposed to be focused around mages.
