Would you go back to 15-20 minute wait times if it meant no more autofilling?

I cannot answer, as it was never 15-20 min queue time for me. If I have to choose probably no, because mains can be as bad as autofill and sometimes even worse. I don't really care who to carry or feed with.

No. But i pick fill every que anyway so auto fill doesnt bother me.

Nope. Because I always get auto-filled to support if I lock in for Top or Mid. So I like always getting support, it's my main role.

autofill was never about "que times"; high que times were a side effect of making every single player who was a support secondary, NEVER get their main role and are given support indefinitely until they took it off as an option, for me i gave up and took it off after 30 ranked support games in a row..

and took up support secondary and instead went jungle mid.

THIS is what caused "que time" to skyrocket because instead of having support main willing to play support and then 4 other lanes of support secondary willing to play support.. and becuase of this EVERY support secondary would take "support" off as an option and REFUSE to support, you just cut out every support secondary form every lane... effectively cutting the people willing to support to 1/5th its previous value.. this in turn caused those reaming people to have en even great chance at support and never getting thier primary role. this this downward spiral continues until que time in higher elos went above 30 minutes

the issue was never really "que time" the issue was.

support secondaries would NEVER get their main role, and so ALL OF US flat our REFUSED to take support as an option.

autofill fixed this issue and allowed support secondaries to still get their primary role, all the while still giving them support but not "every game" and not often enough to not ever want to make us unwilling to swap to support if we were given out main role, but a teammates really couldn't play support.

THIS is what autofill did

it was never about "que times".
