Frozen Mallet is turning Gnar into more hated champion than Teemo

First of all, Frozen Mallet doesn't offer any counterplay when used on a ranged champion, except an all-in on sight. Forcing someone to fight you whenever you show up in lane is pretty op, and the slow from the mallet pretty much does that. Gnar already has a shit ton of cc, and now he gets to have a point-and-click slow on autos. Gnar's pick rate on Worlds right now is showing what I'm talking about.

Second of all, same as Teemo, Gnar is a yordle that gets movement speed boost and is pretty annoying to deal with already. To not make it unbearable, please make so that Frozen Mallet can be used by melee champs only. You could even revert the nerf to its ad, it was a pretty lame try to balance it out.

A faithful LoL player since season2.

Look I don't find him a problem. I mean enemy champs only get fed because of YOU feeding them. Now wether people are able to abuse that more often is up to them. But i mean every champ has a strong point and a weak point and you complaining about its strong points isn't gonna make you better. If anything t'll put you on tilt more. Just find its weak points and abuse it whenever you see a Gnar.

There is only one true counter, and that is Kennen. But what if I don't want to play Kennen? Yes, in that case it means that Gnar is ALWAYS having an unfair advantage in any matchup. Pretty balanced, right?

Obviously you don't play league enough to understand that nobody is broken..You make them broken first off. Second, yes i will admit that Gnar did get more respect and got picked in LCS but still no one plays him anywhere else. Impact was making a point as he played Gnar because it was a good cc champ. Now onto item 3022 , First its not as broken as it was before Riot nerfed it as they gave you more hp for less ad. Now i will admit here that is one of those items that is annoying to deal with but what about item 3153 which steals your movement speed, gives them passive life steal , and attack speed. Don't try to complain about Items on a champion because its not gonna change anybodies mind. Thanks ~~~~S4 Roxas

Diamond 5 ehh. Where more boosted players are than Bronze 5...Where more people complain and rage about their egos than in Bronze. Where professionals joke about how bad D5 is compaired to the rest of the ladder. Lol Diamond 5.

Yes, professionals joke about D5 because it is worse than Master and Challenger. The reason why so many people flame and have a big ego in D5 is because it is a huge milestone, and less than 2% of LoL community makes it. This means that D5 people are better than 98% of the community, including millions and millions of Platinum and Gold players, than Silver I - III, and then there is little you, talking about the insignificance of space to astronauts on Mars.

Maybe there are boosted players to Diamond, but that doesn't mean everyone is boosted, and it certainly doesn't mean I am boosted. I guess you are only jealous because you aren't good enough.

I know I may not have much to say as a Bronze II player, but with Gnar, if you know that they are frequently going to get Frozen Mallet first why not try to get an early lead and beat him in the early game like you would with Irelia with her Trinity or most other item dependent champions? It's not like you can try to make an effort to beat him early to have levels and items over him so that when he does get Frozen Mallet you can fight him one on one while his ad damage is low.

The only champions that can deal well with Gnar are Kennen and Irelia. Kennen is now a staple top lane, mostly because he's ranged and has movement speed steroid so that Gnar can't hurt him that much. Irelia can do well against Gnar, however she's been nerfed enough that she's not the most contested champion top.

Obviously you do not play enough league to understand how hated teemo is. teemo is more hated than yasuo. he is more hated than solo lane lulu. he is definitely more hated than gnar.

Also teemo can go mallet too.
