So is thresh AA a ranged or melee auto attack?

According to item 3085 its a ranged auto attack. According Yasuo windwall its a melee auto attack as thresh AA goes right through yasuo windwall. personally I think its unfair to count it as both.

Ranged, non-projectile based auto.

Same as Vel'Koz, for example. Windwall doesn't protect against ranged attacks, it protects against projectiles.

I believe Kayle E also lets her auto through Yasou's windwall.

Just to be clear for anyone who might be mixed up, it's not going through anything, it's not a projectile which is why Wind Wall doesn't stop it.
