Why people use Vayne with Guinsoo?
title
Edit: I know that Guinsoo lets Vayne proc Silver Bolts on every second attack instead of the third, what I mean is... Who started this trend?

The only reason is that it proc silver bolts twice

Yes, but who started this trend?
The item started it's own thread.
In fact, if those people recall, the reason old devourer got nerfed for ranged champions was SPECIFICALY because of Vayne and her ability to proc silver bolts every 2 AA.
Now that even ranged can proc the passive of Guinsoo's every 2 hits, the whole thing came back.
Vayne actually had nothing to do with that.
Sated Devourer was nerfed for ranged champions due to Kayle and Kindred.
She was pretty OP with that as well, at least hand it to her for that.

Actually, Devourer was changed just before Kindred was released. While one can argue that Vayne and Kayle were also reasons to why they nerfed Devourer, the nerf only came because of Kindred
rageblade vayne is one of those things that sounds broken by adding a clickbait title in all caps, mention the word korean build and post it to youtube
All I know is that building anything AP on Vayne is a useless stat.
Silver bolts every other hit. 2 bork/blood razor procs every other hit.
not sure who started it, but im pretty sure it was gosu that made it popular
Probably korean players. Idk
I saw Gosu doing it on the day 6.9 came out but I doubt he was the first to think of it. His stream just has a lot of viewers so he probably played a major part in starting the trend.
Seems like smite would be useable on vayne now since you no longer require smite to stack it.
its funny tho that a while back before these changes hit i actually pointed out that this was going to happen and everyone downvoted me
guess what, it happened.
i get why vaynes build it but honestly its a garbage item

Not exactly. The passive itself is broken as hell, but is balanced out by a lot of things; Very expensive price, terrible build path, loss of stats upon completion of Guinsoo, not all champions can make effective use of all of this item's stats, takes a while to stack, and you have a very short window of time to make use of the passive before you have to stack it again. Oh, and to make the best use of the passive, you still have to have another on-hit effect.
yea thats what i meant by its a garbage item.
you pay a titanic amount of gold for losing stats not being able to use half the stats and then u still have to stack it up.
and in a fight by then somebody has died and its over anyway so you have to get it stacked before teh fight starts to really get anything out of it, and you need at least 1 extra on hit effect.
also the on hit no longer has any sscaling so its just 15 dmg which isnt very strong either.
its just a bad item now even if you can use the broken passive
not sure why people would downvote because its true
maybe cuz before 3rd hit ,i mean one AA ,then second AA you have already done +12% max hp TRUE CANC3R DMG AND EVERY 10 HITS YOU DEAL 60% MAX HP TRUE DMG
noone in particular started this trend, it was a somewhat obvious thing. Vaynes silverbolts are arguably the most powerfull on-hit in the game, and phantomhit effectively increases the power of on-hit by 50%. Back befor devourer was nerfed for ranged champs, vayne takeing smite and going devourer was a thing, not exactly broken cause it was a huge setback till they got their statcks up and most lost the game early on, but once she got rolling it was beast mode. And now with phantomhit on an item that isn't bound to takeing smite and farming jungle camps, it's obvious people that people are trying it on vayne, though the high cost on lackluster stats it gives for her as she has no ap-scaleings as well as the need to stack it up at the start of each fight mostlikely makes it a viable choice at best for her and nothing that would crowed out other builts.
