Why pick Brand when Vel'Koz is better at everything?

Brand has an uncanny ability to turn a 2v1 gank into a double kill. He also has way more crowd control than Vel. With max CDR brand has a 50% uptime stun. Not even twisted fate can pull that off.

He is also arguably better at burning down durable high health targets with his passive.

There is one thing brand is better at: unlike the tentacle monster, hes pretty.....hot.

Longer stun (although mitigated by tenacity), more AoE/multi-target harass, burn providing more sustained harass. Less avoidable ultimate.

Brand is much more forgiving when you miss stuff. Land one spell before that ult and its big auto target damage.

Brand just in general does more damage, more reliably.

If enemies are in Brands face, he can just spam all his spells out including ult and at least chunk them hard if not kill them.

Velkoz doesn't hit as hard early, his CC is a bit harder to hit, and his ultimate is interuptable.

To whoever said Brand has more CC than Velkoz, your drunk go home.

Brand has 1 form of CC.

Velkoz has a slow on Q. Knockup/back on E. And AoE Slow on R.
