I was playing Trynd and killed him level 1 with an all in trade. But my wave was much bigger and he tp'd back and just froze it right after and I couldn't do anything to unfreeze it so I lost like 2 levels when I came back to lane.
Basically it ended up with me being completely behind because WW would just heal a ton during trades and I had to leave and heal back up after and it wasn't even near as much as his.
SEKAI1 votesTrynd has innate and free sustain, unlike WW's which actually has a cost (Q) unless he's below 50% HP (passive).
If you don't like a sustain matchup as Trynd, just wait till 6 and bait his ulti before you dive him. I think Trynd can even use R when suppressed, but don't quote me on this.

Like I said, (better get someone with you and) dive him after 6. Pretty sure Trynd's ulti can also break any CC including suppression.
Trynd also just outscale WW, so you can always just drag it out and smash him.

Well it was a bad choice of words on my part, I didn't meant to say that it "break" CC like it's Cleanse, but what I intended to say is that you can use it even while you're CC'ed, which also include, you can use it while being suppressed by WW as far as I know (hence why I urged you to bring someone else to dive him, you can be the soak and the hurt). But I can admit that is a fault, a misword, on my part.
However, Trynd obviously outscales most champs in the game, as long as his sword can reach the enemies in late game, which he often will with his ulti and a couple utilities, people will die. What he offers late game are a couple things, 1) skirmish god and 2) splitpush god and 3) potential teamfight god, though just a potential.
You can pretend that Trynd doesn't outscale WW, you can pretend Trynd has nothing to offer late game even though he is one of the most obvious example of a late game carry, be my guest.
404 Terror1 votesPlay a ranged. Keep lane frozen, and push him to turret whenever you see the enemy jungler on the map and mid isn't roaming. He can't do anything.
