Literally the solo carry role in the game with the influence of 3 supports, 1 support for each lane. The problem is that junglers don't fall behind at all for ganking nonstop, even if none of those ganks immediately net a kill.
Most people would probably climb by playing jungle even if they have never played the role before.
jg as a role is fine the reason it feels op is because of jg DIFFERENCE, as it is jg is hard as hell to play well from behind so the jg that gets an early lead can force the enemy jg out of a game giving the jger thats ahead giant objective control and map pressure while bullying the enemy jg into non-existence, maybe you should actually play jg and understand whats going on in the role before spouting an ignorant argument

Jungle just has way too much agency in this game - here's how 90% of the games go nowadays
-Jungler ganks top and creates a lead for himself -Jungler ganks mid and creates a lead for the mid laner -Jungler and mid laner perma camp bot lane and get fed out of their ass and win the game
Red smite needs to be removed, Scuttle crab should go back to giving 40g, overall jungle EXP should be nerfed, damage on the jungle camps increased, gold decreased, respawn decreased so they farm their camps more than they gank
Remove all the plants, cause let's face it, 90% of the time they're there for the junglers only anyway
Remove red buff health regen
That should remove some of the agency from the omnipresent junglers
Last season I abused Udyr+Kaisa with my premade.
I played Udyr, took blue+gromp+crab and then either ganked or invaded and killed the enemy jungler. Then I took his entire jungle, another crab and the game was basically over.
If it wasn't over, I waited for Baron to spawn with my premade and we 2 manned it. Every time.
Jungle is stupid.
Jungling is the easiest role right now, has been for a while. At least in garbage elos. But if you as a jungler afk the first 5 minutes, you are griefing and you deserve to lose.
Better jungler wins 99% of the time

Forgive me, but how could people "abuse" jungle to climb? The "most people would climb if they played jungle" sounds like it comes with the assumption that there isn't a jungler on both teams...
Not saying there doesn't need to be jungle changes, but this "play jungle and you'll get to gold" mentality kind of has an enormous hole in the logic.
What deserves a nerf is red smite, it gives junglers a 1vs1 potential that they shouldn't considering that they already have so much map preassure.
Jungle presence has more to do with the competence or lack of competence within lanes, than you give credit for. Also, has a lot to do with whether your jungle champion has any synergy with your laning champions, because if he doesn't, odds are he isn't going to have any successful ganks without luck being the primary factor.
