Riot: due to the ability to lock out a teammate in a critical teamfight is too strong or lacks meaningful counterplay we are gonna keep the ult duration and just make it scale by rank.
Me: in other words the Camille treatment in her ult timer increases per rank. pro play is the reason we cant have nice things. such a fun looking ultimate is gonna be gutted.
also after all 7 secs in ganking during lane time is very powerful also.

Chembaron Yamada1 votesHe is a juggernaut. Their major counterplay is getting kited, which most of the time is a team effort to protect the squishy carries.
If you let a squishy and a juggernaut fight each other and there are no allies around to keep the juggernaut away, then most the time the juggernaut wins by default, except if he is extremely behind.
Also: Why should Mordekaiser actually want to escape his own ult? Camille is forced to from time to time, for example if she gets outnumbered (which can't happen with Mordekaiser's ultimate). There is no reason whatsoever for Mordekaiser to ult a target he is not confident in killing.
This "you're locked in with me, I'm not locked in with you" situation just applies if Mordekaiser didn't pick a target he knows he can overwhelm, aka that Mordekaiser lacks the proper knowledge to play his champion.

Chembaron Yamada1 votesAs long as you didn't wait with your ultimate until Jinx triggered her passive, Jinx has no mobility whatsoever and her own peeling tools are 1. telegraphed and 2. pretty delayed.
Honestly, I never had a problem solo killing a Jinx as a juggernaut, except she got heavy peeling from her team.
