Should Swain have his auto-attack and last-hitting buffed?

Been picking up Swain again recently, and it's frusutrating trying to last-hit with him. It's slow, has low damage, and I keep flubbing last hits by tiny amounts of health. I even made a rune page with flat AD instead of flat AP and keep missing hits. -_-

I know at one point Swains auto-attack was tuned to keep his passive's sustain in check, but I really don't see the relevance of that in the current game state of manaless mids all over the place.

I now a bunch of champions have had their autos tuned up and improved, but I think Swain's has been left clunky on purpose as a balancing measure. Keeps his mana sustain in check, makes him use ult to farm, and encourages him to play aggressively against enemy champions to farm kills instead of flopping like a fish out of water to farm minions.

It's already in a state similar to Zilean's auto-attack, he's fine. You just need more practising in getting used to his auto-attack.
