Never ever put new players into matches with high silvers, they don't know how to play lane, they don't know how to gank,, their core game knowledge is so shit that it can cost you games and you just can't do shit about it no matter how much you help them

If they do placements well and show that they are slightly above that mark, they will be completing games in high silver so the game can monitor if they play well at that level.
