When did you see a lux NOT build mejais?

I don't see Lux players building Mejai's. I see them using less risky items.

Mejai's is only really a good option if you're confident you can roflstomp your opponent in lane. And I can say there's a good number of match ups where building a Mejai's is plainly a bad idea.

i play lux (usually as support) and pretty much never build mejas. only occasionally as support, if we are doing well. Its nice that lux has pretty long range but this does not make her impossible to kill at all, and her damage is not so great (unless you fed her)

Since when did Lux build Mejai's?

I have no idea why they buffed Lux, and it seemed like such a random ability to buff as well. Nobody ever brought up buffs to her Q and 100 percent damage on the 2nd snare.

Did they ever provide us with any context?
