Reasons Why Team Builder Should Be Brought Back
If you agree with what I'm about to say or just agree with the concept, could you do a favor for me and the rest of the community and upvote this to gain more attention? I hope I will be able to convince everyone why team builder should be brought back.

Everyone gets the exact role and champ they want. We all know Blind Pick is an absolute mess. Haven't we all seen people argue over roles? Did you ever want to play a role, but someone already called it? Don't forget the auto lockers who lock in even if someone had called a role first. Getting the role you want has a better chance in Draft which I really think is fantastic when wanting to ranked. Yet norms are used for practice by many players. Say someone has time for 1-2 games and wants to practice mid (which seems to be a really contested choice) or any other lane. Chances are he'll have to compete for it in Blind and may not get in Draft. He'll dodge or be forced to play a role/champ that he wasn't in the mood for. Team Builder is an option where everyone can play exactly what they want.

Time I'll admit, Blind is a pretty quick way to get into a norm. It's useful if you don't care too much about getting a specific role, but not very practical if you want to practice or just have fun with one certain certain contested champ or role. Now, say with a straight face that "Draft doesn't take too long." You just can't do it. Aren't we all guilty of looking at our phones during banning and champ select? I'm NOT saying Draft (also called Dynamic me thinks) is bad, just not fully practical when you wanna get some practice in on a specific champ or role in norms. The champ you wanna practice with just might end up banned. Again, what you gonna do? Dodge? Play something you weren't in the mood for? You might have other champs you wanna play, but they weren't the champs you were really wanting to play.

Team Comp You get the team comp you want! Ever end up in a draft with all AD champs? Personally, it doesn't metter to me in a norm, but some people might like having more options. Maybe you wanna top malphite and can possibly get a yas mid? Options tend to not be a bad thing.

Team and Champ Freedom This point is an edit I'm making the day after I posted this and is another reason why Team Builder should be brought back. Hasn't anyone here wanted to have fun with something off meta in a norm? Maybe an AP Sion or AP Gnar? Remember in team builder where you not only selected your champ and lane, but you also had to select your role as in Assassin, Mage, or Tank? Well in Team Builder, for the most part everyone KNEW what they were getting and had the option to stay with their team or leave. It benefitted both the people who wanted to play seriously and those who wanted to troll around. I'll give you guys a personal example. Occasionally, I liked to troll around with Yi support (note: I KEPT it in norms Team Builder and have never played it as support since). Everyone knew what they would get, so they could decide to kick if they wanted a real support or accept me if they didn't care or were curious. In one game, I met two really cool people on my team, we had a ton of fun that game, and we even won xD I'm still friends with them today. Again, for those serious players, they had the option to kick or not team up with people they didn't want to play with while those wishing to fool around were matched with similar teammates or those who didn't care. This was reasonable and good since those who wished to mess around could do it with the permission of their team.
Quick note: People might argue that you can practice what you want in bots, but practicing in bots is not challenging enough. To get an idea of a champ, I love to practice in bots or a custom, but that's what it is good for: getting an idea. For example, jungling in bots is going to be way different than jungling in norms. Enemies won't contest you, your team should generally have no trouble in their lanes, and you have free access to an entire map of monsters. Is practicing a champ only in bots gonna prepare you to play it in ranked? Probably not.
Suggestions: I realize that adding in team builder could slow down traffic and cause higher que times. I'm just an average player, but here is an idea that could be worth thinking about. If bringing back team builder would cause a problem with wait times, why not create a new mode that merges blind and team builder? Instead of choosing which champ AND lane you want before queing, just choose ONE lane/fill. Once you enter que and hit accept, you can end up in a similar screen as blind and enjoy from there.
