Doesn't it mean they maybe also kept the older versions of some champions somewhere ? I mean I've never seen a company completely deletting something and never looking back
(and I secretly hope for a "retro league" game mode)

Beatrice falls1 votesI mean ok it might be toxic, but what about a fun mode ? In URF for instance, some things are "toxic" in the sense that some champions are utterly broken, and this is what makes the game mode fun

the title is "pre rework", I guess thanks for clarifying but never once would I have been able to guess that you and the owner were discussing only full VGU's

Galiö2 votesI think assets for items are easier to dig up or mimic but I also dont believe they removed the old champion assets and just use it as an excuse.
Oleandervine2 votesWhy would a company waste time and space to hoard old game data for characters who's kit proved to be problematic or obsolete for the game? They're the equivalent of cat skeletons in a hoarder's house - they have no reason to be keeping them.
OtterlyLost2 votesThey've already stated on multiple occasions that they couldn't bring back old champions, even if they wanted to. The assets for them have already been deleted and they dont keep them on a separate database.
Get Ogre Here1 votesRiot has mentioned that they will never have one of those modes (although they admit it would be cool to have) because they delete all the champ data. Also even if they remove an item it's a lot easier to re-make than a champion so I can see them having re-made the items.
