PBE Nerfs are far and away uncalled for

If Fizz is nerfed in the way he is right now on PBE, he will become borderline unplayable. He already has a hard enough lane phase, and the melee range nerf will make it even more suffer-able. Really though, the cooldown nerf on Trickster is what will do him in. His mobility and ability to dodge spells are what he's all about. What's the purpose of even playing him if he can't remain "slippery" throughout a team fight? The only reason he has started to become better is because he can actually itemize towards optimal CDR items. Fizz isn't even over powered right now. If anything, he's an occasional competitive pick who incites flavor and diversity in champion select. Nerfing Fizz would not only be a huge step backwards in the sense of progress, but it would detriment the variety and diversity that should always be seen in competitive play.

All his core items got CDR thrown on. Fizz's E basically has no CD once he finishes 2 items; he's supposed to have downtime where he;s vulnerable. If he's not it's just...stupid.

A six-second downtime with maximum CDR is what's stupid. He'll just get roasted in fights 100% of the time before he's even able to get off two rotations of abilities.

I welcome them with open arms.

Good maybe i wont see him every game

Lower elo is a separate factor, and opinions are often skewed on account of people not knowing how to counter play.

Hes annoying. Plain and simple. Better off just banning him

As someone who has played Fizz for a long time. Those E nerfs are well deserved given the recent cdr buffs but those AA nerfs are just stupidly unnecessary and don't fix a problem with Fizz. It will just make him clunky to play.

Fizz was always built to maximize CDR within the first 1-2 items. It's just that now he's able to do it with items that are more useful on him than morellos.

Aw. Is your toxic tank fizz finally getting nerfed? Good. He won't be missed.

Tank Fizz is bad/dumb and not what they are nerfing.

Reducing his max%missing hp is totally targeting tank fizz. Also, the CD increase is targeting tank as well, cause he can just live forever while still being tanky as F***.

Reverted. This has been replaced with a reduction to the base damage of the W at later levels (4% - 8% reduced to 4% - 6%).

He still can. Being slightly less slippery does not mean that he is not slippery. He is still very good at it, and he will likely be better at it than he was before he had the option to itemize so heavily into CDR without giving anything up.

The only reason he has started to become better is because he can actually itemize towards optimal CDR items.

Champions becoming better because of item changes doesn't mean they are immune to future balance. He became too strong because of item changes. That means he has to be adjusted down to fit them.

He is a strong champion. He maintains a good winrate alongside a very high banrate and a robust pickrate at all skill levels. He can take these nerfs.

Trust me, the CDR nerf is too much. I've always had the brain for this sort of thing. He wasn't exactly strong until the midseason update. It's more like he went from under-powered to balanced instead of balanced to overpowered. The only reason his ban rate as gone up is because of the change on the QSS interaction with his ultimate. If that were reverted, you would see a much much lower ban rate, which was what he had before the QSS change. In addition, you can't look at just a raw win rate or ban rate. I'm pretty sure only about 10% of the player base is platinum and up.

No offense, but I've seen this many times from many mains. That doesn't mean much to me.

I think I have a good brain for this sort of thing, and I think he'll be fine. That probably means about as much to you as your statement means to me.

It's more like he went from under-powered to balanced instead of balanced to overpowered.

I don't agree. I think he went from being a fairly normal champion to being an overpowered one. We have to correct his current state.

If that were reverted, you would see a much much lower ban rate

It won't be reverted, so we have to balance and design around what the game is now. Right now, he's overpowered.

It doesn't ultimately matter his current state was caused by item changes unless those item changes will be reverted. They won't be reverted, so we have to balance Fizz around the changes to the game.

In addition, you can't look at just a raw win rate or ban rate. I'm pretty sure only about 10% of the player base is platinum and up.

Most websites only use data from Plat+. Both champion.gg and op.gg use Plat+ data and they both justify what I'm saying. Like I said before, he's putting up very strong numbers at every skill level.
