Why does nasus get to be a special snowflake?

Of all the champions who infinitely get strong, nasus is the only one whose actually is good. He can build solid tank because his damage infinitely increases good enough so that he will never need damage.

Sion can't build solid damage, his tankiness is barely noticable. Veigar can't build solid tank, a good veigar will only have an extra 300 AP end game on average. Thresh can't build solid MR or damage, his armor scalings are small. Junglers can't rely solely on devourer. Bard can't rely on his meeps

Why is nasus a special snowflake? If you don't faceroll the enemy team, you HAVE to babysit nasus because his splitpush is so effective and he is also one of the most tanky champions in the game, and because of his wither you have to get him dead or he will 1 shot your ADC.

He should be changed, or the other champions should be edited.

Why is it so bad that a champion has a strength or a thing that sets them apart? I really don't think champions should be reworked until the are all style-swapped variations of each other in some predetermined "role".

Because in Nasus' case, either you win every other lane and push fast enough before he gets strong, or he splitpushes top lane while being able to 1 vs 2(+).

So gank him as a team when he pushes deep, then go finish off the rest of his team.

I am playing Nasus on my smurf right now and this keeps screwing me over.

Time your deep pushes with your team contesting other objectives. You don't even have to communicate with them, if they are not actively contesting something don't push, and vice versa.

What about Option C? "Beat Nasus, win lane." It's what I prefer to do...

This is the trade off for having the most boring early game ever

Because he is pure trash early game, literally any champ of any kind can shit on him.

Because he is no help to his team mid-game.

Because he has no mobility, so is extremely vulnerable to CC.

Because he has zero hard CC, so he can't interrupt shit like Katarina 's death lotus, Vi 's vault breaker,MissFortune bullet time etc.

Because his waveclear is actually piss-poor, since he lacks significant multi-target damage (he pushes lanes slow as shit, it only feels fast because he deletes towers like nothing).

Because he spends 90% of the game playing farmville, leaving his team to fight 4v5 the entire time.

He is not trash early any more; so many things have changed top lane: level-up stat system changes, nerfs to toplaners that 'counter' him early on, buffs to telport. He just sits back safely levels 1-4 then you can't bully him anymore because he'll get tanky+have sustain to brush off any poke.

Veigar gets infinitely strong LOL

Bard can't rely on his meeps

Unless you have PBE, you have no way of knowing that

redniwediS1 votes

Lots of people have PBE access, and those who don't have youtubers and streamers who show off PBE material. Stuff being tested on the PBE, even though access is restricted, is public knowledge.

And yes, i do have pbe.

Why do bronzies have to be a special snowflake? We nerfed yi already to cater to your crying, nasus isn't the reason why you can't get out of bronze 4.

I don't know man, I'm kind of a fan off the 1 - shot your face adc thresh build.

But in all seriousness, Nasus isn't nearly as strong as you think. Your early game is weak as balls. You take a lot of time to really build up to your strong point. If you don't stack you become pretty useless. You only have 1 single target slow as your cc with no gap closers so you are very kitable (especially if the other person has qss to throw off wither). Your damage is almost entirely single target. You have no escapes and because your only cc is single target a good gank can kill you pretty easily unless the enemy team let you free farm for a long time.

If you really want some champs who can beat nasus take a look at these.

Garen, Olaf, Renekton, Darius, and the vast majority of ranged top laners. You could even take an adc top and probably be very effective at fighting nasus as he has no way of fighting against heavy poke besides trying to out sustain it.

Anyone with solid zoning ability can either push him out of his early farm or force him to trade at a deficit, personally I like Cassie against Nasus. Miasma and Noxious Blast are both excellent for curbing start chunking him every time sustain and once you get a couple of points into your E you can start chunking his health whenever he tries to farm. This leaves him vulnerable to being ganked or with no decent farm late game.
