What other armor item should I build as ap vs lethality?

or just some other health/AP item (there are plenty). Although it doesn't provide you with armor, it still makes you harder to kill.
is an option, but it doesn't fit well into most mid builds. It's really quite good right now with many ADCs building Lethality instead of crit (which makes the critted autos with Zeke's stronger). It's also quite cheap.
AlienPrimate1 votesIf you really need the extra armor I would say Frozen Heart is the best option for a mage. It gives a lot of mana and 20% cdr which in a way still increases your damage. It is also the most cost effective armor item for its stats when compared to all other armor items.
