Because it's undodgable with untargetability and blinks just like most of the cone spells of Season 1 champions.

Either they remove the silence, lower its AP ratio, or just fix the bug where you get silenced even if you zed ult/flash out of the AoE.

They're likely just going to fix that bug, as they'll do with Morde's E and Annie's Incinerate.

I feel as though it will not be removed but merely nerfed.. That is one hella long silence man and the recent ap cho builds are making it do a ton of damage.

They won't remove it. The spell has very little function beyond the silence, whereas LeBlanc's silence also was a huge amount of her burst and Talon's was his gapcloser/damage amp.

If they do get rid of the silence they'll replace it with something else.

people silence/hard cc is removed on very high mobility champions; champions like soraka, garen, cho, malzahar, blitz, and i am forgeting others that will keep their silence because there is no reason to remove silence from these champions

Riot removed silence from a certain class of champion because of how overpowered it was; they have nothing against silence

I doubt they would remove it. Cho is a fairly immobile champ. If anything they would remove or Decrease the slow after the knock up on his Q, or make his silence smaller or just cut the silence duration.

Riot only has problems with silence when combined with high mobility and damage. There needs to be counterplay.
