The proper way to fix malz.

Make Q EXTEND the E duration by 2.5 seconds instead of fully resetting it (It feels too satisfying to fully reset an E that's about to die so this just nerfs it's max damage. but makes it more consistent)

Also would love if you changed voidlings to "Cap of 4 vs non-champions", to compensate the FIRST voidling takes 10/20/30/40/50% reduced damage from turrets and voidlings summon extra when attacking turrets so AD malz's entire niche of turret taking can come back.

Last but not least make voidling's base magic damage scale per level instead of rank.

These changes affect malz:

AD malz would make a comeback since they would max W first anyways and can do what they use to do and siege turrets.

Jng Malz would be tuned down since voidlings would be capped at a reasonable amount and since their magic damage would scale per level instead of rank riot can change how much leeway they have in clear speed.

AP Lane malz would be able to max E->Q with W being a one point wonder since it's magic damage would scale per level instead of rank making them able to do more without investing into their pet early and give enemies more room to breath since malz would be more player focused early instead of voidling focused. If that makes sense, which I hope it does.....Not to mention since malz's power wouldn't be heavily pet invested early he wouldn't have an issue of doing nothing to someone who just easy kills his pet.

TL;DR changes: Q- Extends E duration by 2.5 seconds instead of fully reset for less MAX damage but more consistency

W- Scales per level instead of rank in order to tune down jng malz while lane malz can have it as a one point wonder so most of his power is focused on E+Q. Additionally can use on turrets for the trade off of a capped limit vs non-champions.

Really would like to play malz again....

Old Malza was doing more dmg... This new passive + voidlings is just a gimmick.

Only damage missing is old ulti's base damage everywhere else has damage per usual, and tbh current E+Q actually has more damage than old E+Q the only difference is that it's more interactive than old.

So yea Current malz only missing the base damage ulti had everything else has the same amount/more damage but more interactive and fun to use. I'd rather give up a minor amount of base damage for his new passive which allows him to actually set up stuff before having to ulti.

They nerfed his base dmg and ratios... don't forget that they will also nerf him even more until he becomes unplayable.

Q+E does more damage than before just use q to reset it after 3 seconds and you're out damaging your old E+Q, null void was moved to ultii. Again the only damage lost was the old ulti's base damage aside from that malz has even more damage currently. Basically you have to work a bit more for it which separates the real malz players from just mindless players not to mention he gained a new passive which allows him to set up before needing to ulti.

Either way I want them to do this change so malz can retain what damage he has now but fix his jungle, bring ad malz back and not hurt lane malz too much.

Youre assuming that its viable to continuously reset his E. Its not.

Malzahar lost 60% of his burst in the rework and became a safe, easily countered objective jungler.

How you ACTUALLY fix malzahar is another rework;

Passive: Stays. Current Q: Stays. W: Heals voidlings based on AP and frenzies them for 5/7/9 seconds. Current E: Stays, and if it spreads from a minion without a champion getting the last hit, you get the gold. R: NEW: (has from level 1): Malzahar summons a PERMANENT voidling that is a pre-rework voidling with 0.8/0.9/1.0total AD and 0.1/0.2/0.3AP. Voidlings RESERVE 20% of mana per voidling, and add 1 voidling per rank. (to a maximum of 60% reserved mana and 3 voidlings)

Now the problem he has (his very safe jungling) is mitigated, and he is put back into the lane without completely removing or homogenizing his AD playstyle or jungle potential.

He never was removed from lane his lane is just as strong as his jungle hence why I'm tuning them both down, it may not seem viable to reset his E but after 2 games it's easier and easier to reset it hence why I was changing Q.

His W Is easily tuned by making the magic damage scale per level instead of rank (Like cassi's E) so riot can physically give as much early power to malz as they want with a non-champion cap to make sure it's enough to jng but doesn't impact lane malz plus if that change went through W can be a one point wonder instead of his Q.

His Passive, E and R are fine and in no need of another rework.
