@Riot - Question, Is the Suicide-Sion strategy a ban-able offense? Past offenses were.

Sion just suicide pushes, while completely ignoring the entire game. One laner gets fed off any tower suicides in the process. In the event, he can't zerg the towers before the game ends your team has to put up with a 4 vs 5 objective fiesta.

This is horrible for everyone else on the team.

Now let's use "Smite Support Singed as an example". A two million mastery point player with a positive win rate was instructed he'd be permabanned if he continued. The main reasons were "refusing to communicate with team" and "refusing to work with team." It caused such a toxic environment for everyone he qued with that it was put to a stop.

I understand you want to play Singed Support, however, your teammates do not want you to play Singed Support"

Now let's look at Sion.

-Refusing to communicate? Check -Refusing to work with the team? Check -Intentionally feeding? Check -Assisting enemy team? Check

Anything being done about that? Nope - even though players ignoring the entire game for themselvs has been punishable in the past (Multiple cases)

Ah see here where your wrong.

Ive seen plenty of teams okay with the suicide sion strategy because they saw that one guy doing it.

That singed was doing his own thing even if all 4 other players would ask him not to. He would actually tell them and then just mute the game.

Its 2 completely different circumstances.

Out of the five games I've been in with this happening so far, I've yet to have a positive experience or not have one person becoming toxic over it. Even if the entire party asks him not to continue, he will still continue to ignore everything.

If the entire party asks the Sion not to and they still do it, while explaining how it's a good strategy, what's the difference?

End of the day you still have a player expecting the entire game to reconstruct around them... even if not a single other player on your team agrees. It's the same thing.

If it was a premade, and everyone was ok with it - that's fine. It's how many games are being held hostage that's bothering me.

Smite support singed was overturned and riot changed their stance on it after MASSIVE community backlash.

Your team cannot dictate what or how you play, as long as you intend to win.

I saw the strategy work quite effectively, because me and the other 3 teammates held the other lanes effectively, and baited out team fights while the Sion rotated between top and bottom, eventually puncturing to their inhibitor by himself. At that point, it didn't matter how fed the enemy was or how many deaths he'd had. He became a MASSIVE problem for the enemy team, and they ignored him until it was too late. Plus, this strategy is basically a beefier Tryndamere, with less cancer. You can't really ban Inting Sion when Tryndamere's whole existence is using the same strategy.

Its one of those strategies that requires a competent team that can make it work. Tbh, its so easy to counter.

I just pick Garen and baby sit Sion, getting kills and getting fed off him when he tries that shit.

You need team mates that can competently 4v5 while you go split push. But a Fiora/Garen/Vayne/Kai’sa makes it meaningless.

Hrm, a quick simple google search and clicking the first sets of links revealed this: https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/9lk4eq/remember_inting_sion_heres_a_video_on_how_he_does/e790wwt/

Doing it INCORRECTLY on PURPOSE is a offence. The Sion who found this strat actually did group and had perfect cs. He CHOSE himself in which situation is the best to charge the tower or be a huge shield.

His perception of what his team needs in different situations are amazing.
