Don't try to defend ADC's.

Ranged AD has been broken ever since the start of the game and Riot continues to make them the only class required in every single team comp. Assassins are a necessary evil in order to keep ADC's under control

I'm not defending them, I'm saying ill rather have champions that need 20+ min of farming to become relevant than champions that 100-0 anyone who is not a tank with 1/2 items and a full rotation with 0 counter play what so ever.

The counterplay is not letting them get to the point of "Feast". And champs like Zed and ekko have plenty of counterplay in their burst.

If your notion of balance to a champion it's "dont let them become feed" then you have serious issues. And Zed it's one of the worst example of balance and healthy game play. He either destroys you, or you get a zhonya and he cant do jack shit.

First of all, the idea that anyone has serious issues because of their idea of game balance is ludicrous. Second of all, having a lead dependent carry is a fairly debatable topic, and yes it actually IS balanced to have that in the game. Its risk vs reward, and the enemy team has an opportunity to deny the reward. However, those champs tend to be pubstompers and that is generally an unhealthy thing to have in the game, because all you need is for some teammates to feed the Zed 3 kills and boom now he's ahead and you're struggling to survive under your turret. So not unbalanced, unhealthy and unfun.

You said they have no counter play, which is just wrong. You can disagree on how well implemented that counterplay is, but the only thing i said is that they have counterplay. For zed burst, Zhonyas is counterplay, QSS is counterplay flash is counterplay, almost any CC is easy to land on him, any mobility to dodge his burst... and that is just his own burst rotation, he has plenty of counterplay otherwise. The problem is he also has a lot of outplay potential, so people tend to overblow his "omg no counterplaay".

And that's not even talking about Ekko, the guy is a perfect assassin. Everything is skillshots, has some outplay potential so still fun to play and assassinate, has clear strengths and weaknesses.

Tl;dr You might be right that he is the worst example of healthy gameplay (which i disagree with.. how can you say that when rengar and akali exist? Maybe because Zed is more meta?), but being a bad example of balance is an entirely different thing.

In fairness... Assassins are possibly the only class of champion I can think of that has been complained about more than ADC. Defending ADCs to the community would be hard. Defending Assassins to the community is damn-near impossible.

Diana Fizz Katarina Pretty easy Assassins to start out with. I can't really give you any tips for assassins in general other than the generic "Know when to go in for the kill" and stuff but I do have a guide out for Akali if you want it. If you want to know more about Talon, Zed, or Khazix you can add a guy in client named Haunt. He's pretty helpful when it comes to explaining those three.

I'm not... sure.

Zed doesn't exactly have the highest skillfloor, and since I'm silver 4 I don't think I'm anywhere near any champion's skill ceiling. If anything, Zed's probably one of the easier assassins at my elo (although not overall, I am not bashing on him).

Considering I feed like a New York soup kitchen when playing Katarina or Leblanc, I don't think I'm skilled enough to play just about everyone quite yet.

I dunno, his passive makes farming a little easier and as long as you don't spam W and mind your shadows (both of which were hard at first, I admit), his energy isn't all that hard to manage.

He doesn't seem all that hard to pick up, honestly. Just hard to master.

oh ya, mixed up skill ceiling with skillfloor. But still id think that Zed would have the highest one bc he is still really skillshot dependent, whereas the other aren't. I mean yes lb has skill shots, but their hitboxes are so large and the ability is so fast, it's pretty hard to miss and its pretty hard for the enemy to dodge.

Although I think Zed's skill ceiling isn't just skillshots alone, but rather his multiple shadows and how they interact with his abilities that drive up the potential (and difficulty of mastering!).

Does Leblanc have a higher skill flooring, or do I just plain suck with her? :/

Despite popular belief leblanc is not easy to play. Her laning phase is kinda faceroll especially against certain matchups but late game it becomes really hard to assassinate people unless you can make picks. Keeping track of which ability is tied to your ult is also pretty hard to do especially in the middle of a fight which takes a lot of skill to manage. She's not the hardest champion to play but she definitely isn't easy

I play quite a few. Obviously I have my favorites, but I like to have a wide pool to handle any situation, either counterpicking the enemy team, picking into an ADC for a high pressure bot lane, or picking into my team comp.

I play several supports, but I guess my primaries are Braum Soraka (before she was cool) Sona Lulu Annie Leona Nautilus Janna Zyra Malphite Nami

I'd QQ too if I was an Akali player. She's easily the least fluid assassin in this game. It feels awful to play her.

That being said, this guy is clearly pretty skilled with her. Like all champions, just because they're outclassed, doesn't mean they're unplayable.

Those of us that are skilled with her will do well. As for the fluidity issues: it lies all on the fact that her burst is laid out in 2 full spell rotations and if your enemy is expecting it they can almost always escape. After a few core items though it turns more into the favor of the akali and so long as she isn't focused she can usually end up gaining 2+ kills per teamfight.
