@riot: the next time you do a versus event, dont put a bounty on the winner.

im still convinced that darius just might have won because a lot of people expected the champion with the higher player base to win the event and voted who they expected to win and not who they wanted to win.

there were just dozens over dozens of comments of people who said "i voted for darius because hes probably going to win, and i want the blue essence".

way too many to just write off or ignore, and it might have been the deciding factor this year.

inentionally or unintentionally, i think the blue essence bounty rigged the event from the start. next time let people decide on gut feeling, and not make a calculated gamble.

Yeah, this event was... somewhat of a letdown. I mean, Garen got an amazing skin, and Darius got a good one too (Though I still think Dunkmaster is better), but the things that happened over the course of it were... highly suspect in some cases.

Garen starts out in the lead. Holds said lead for about 2 to 3 days, then the first glitch that prevented people from either side from completing missions occurred. Thus for about 2 or 3 more days of this roughly 2-week event no one knew WHO was ahead, aside from what the Client showed when one logged in.

That it glitched a SECOND time, allowing players to switch sides if they wished. By this point Darius had taken over, and (I assume) Garen supporters figured it was a lost cause and jumped ship, thus cementing Darius' win. Call me salty if you wish, but with all these "Convenient" things occurring, it's very hard not to think that the event was rigged in Darius' favor and that Garen never really stood a chance. I'm sure I'll get downvoted to hell for saying it, but whatever.

yea, ive seen those reports too.

i think it happened to me too, but since i clicked on garen every time, it didnt give me additional missions.

but during the first couple of days, when i clicked on the versus tab, it alsways opened the vote option for darius and garen again.

who knows how much quest progress was counted towards darius just because of the glitches and people exploiting it for extra tokens.
