She is fun
and has a good kit for support and since I don't play mid I tried her support, she is fun especially if you predict peoples dashes with your E+W Combo XD

Targon1 votesI think there's a few reasons. She doesn't have the most reliable CC to peel for her ADC. Her knockback is good but isn't the easiest to land. Her level 6 isn't that strong in the support role either. It's good at blocking people off if you get ganked but it's probably not the greatest for roaming since support Taliyah doesn't do as much damage as midlane Taliyah and you could more easily put yourself in a bad position.
I could see it as an annoying pick against a Kallista though :P.

Erockandroll1 votesI don't think the supportive aspects on Taliyah are enough to Justify forgoing Solo lane gold and XP. You only have your W as a CC, and you E as a zoning tool, both of which you would still have if you played her as the APC. And the map pressure that your ult offers, is not as effective in the duo lane, compared to say, Tahm Kench.

The E slow is not really good enough in a dire situation, and the W has a delay + cast time and a small width, so it's not that reliable either. Also she needs gold for Rylai's, arguably one of her most, if not the most, important core item on her.
Risk of Fate1 votesI've done it one time and it's not something I'd recommend unless you're against a Lucian lane. You can't really spam your Q given the lane is extremely narrow which means you'll most likely getting 1 rock off for most of laning. As well as that, she's a high skill floor champion which means you should be reliable at doing the W-E combo or at the very least using E to zone and W to separate and peel.
Lux, Morgana, Nami, and even Sona/Soraka offer more reliable cc and sustain.
Fududles1 votesI definitely dont recommend her as a support because as others have stated a support like lux is more reliable as far as zoning, cc, and reliable damadge
Personally i recommend if u like playing taliyah go top... Why ...because there u only have 1 person to constantly worry about zoneing and unlike mid u have more wall use for her passive... But be warned she has alot of bad machups in the top lane so dont expect to carry the game
Instead make plays for your team ... best example would be a when u have a chance roam mid because mid is by far the most important lane in the game if you can get your mid laner ahead early you have a greater chance of winning
Or if that wont work because the enemy mid is already ahead ( u never want to focus on ganking a lane thats behind ... thats not to say you shouldn't just dont think you have to to get your mid laner back to even) instead be ready for any opportunities to tp bot because if bot can get ahead they can snowball into the other lanes
But be careful u dont want to give up top lane tower !!!!
