Can we make Yasuo's 'q' a targeted ability?

We have so many other fighter/melee champions in this game with targeted abilities. Master Yi's 'q', Rengar's 'q', most of Fiora's abilities, etc. I understand it's for "counterplay", but explain to me why Yasuo needs "counterplay" and other champs can just point and click burst you. It makes no sense.

My suggestion would be to let Yasuo target one person with his 'q', and it will also hit other enemies (in a line) in front of his target. Also, the knockup would still be a skillshot. Just his 'q' without the tornado.

So why are other melee champs allowed to have point and click nukes but Yasuo isn't?

Because his Q is on an extremely low cooldown and have crowd control attached to it on the third casting.

Learn to read please. I said his third 'q' would still be a skillshot. I didn't use those exact words. I said his knockup. Same thing though.

He's meant to be an outplay fighter with a high skill ceiling. Why would he have a point and click Q? I wouldn't even like him having a point click Q, would take so much satisfaction away from the ability.

That would be a terrible nerf to Yasuo. Think about it: yasuo can ult large portions of teams because he can offset his Q to hit multiple champions' hit boxes. If he was forced to aim dead center on one champ, hitting subsequent champions would be reduced to luck instead of skill.
