Tried Tank Ekko for the first time, wouldn't mind some tips on it

Got two early kills including First Blood, but due to some misplays on my part and some issues out of my control (AT&T lagspikes, ally drama, etc) I ended up 5/8.

My build was . The enemy Ahri in the game suggested Instarted with Rod of Ages when playing Tank Ekko, but I'm not sure about it and the build pages I've googled don't include it for the most part.

From what I can tell, I probably should have rushed first, then gone ?

Ekko is my main and you should always build attack speed boots on him. Trust me, proc that passive faster is awesome.

I'd recommend guardian angel too so you can revive.

IBG AND Lichbane? Which one of the two Spellblade passives gets proced in that situation?

Jungle tank ekko is better than mid imo and try to always get item 3027

I haven't played Ekko in plat for awhile, but when I was in Gold for various reasons, my core build on Ekko top/mid was; item 3027 item 3001 item 3025 . Ekko loves every one of those stats. Games never really lasted past 4 items, but lucidity + 10% CDR from somewhere seems good. Visage if you're against AP heavy, runes or just skip against AD heavy. Maxing CDR on ekko feels amazing, between constant dashes, and ulti resets. It also lets him proc his passive on just timewinders, which is amazing for escapes.

Tank Ekko used to be the best thing on him, but that sort of play has been cut back a bit. You sort of have to go half / half.

If you're in the jungle: item 1402 , item 3100 , and, call me crazy, but your clears will be much faster with a item 3124 . In between, build tank based on who's fed.

That's my build on it, jungle Ekko is hugely based on ganks, since his pre-6 clears are pretty slow. If you get ahead early, the game will be amazing. Have fun! [slayer-jinx-catface]
