League right now mirrors WoW when it started declining

In WoW a series of changes were implemented that didn't turn out too well - Blizzard refused to revert and kept on pushing the same erroneus design philosophy until half their playerbase decided enough is enough. At this point they've gone too far to revert and the game suffers as a result.

Now we have Rito, who for some odd reason, decided to hire Ghostcrawler who was a deciding factor in WoW's demise. The first warning signs came with the class updates which were nothing but major failures. These updates are accountable for the shitty state the game's in - everything was nerfed to shit with the exception of ADCs. Even Rito admits they were failures, yet they don't revert these garbage updates. No one at Rito gives a shit that so many people got their mained ruined by these shitty updates.

Then we got the new jungle which no one asked for and which is still a balance issue, weak towers, snowball-effect and list goes on. Y'all know the drill.

My point, however, is that Rito keeps pumping out changes just for the sake of change - such as the new jungle and ridiculous class updates. This EXACTLY what Ghostcrawler did to WoW and which he is now doing to League.

The truth is that Ghostcrawler is just doing what he's always been doing: Not giving a shit about gameplay quaility and instead pursues narcissistic ideal types which ALWAYS FAIL, and then he refuses to revert.

I think you need to practice your reading apprehension skills. If that's what you got out of the post then I feel sorry for ya.

I feel sorry for you actually believing ghostcrawler is to blame for wow's decline.

WoW was at its best under GC. The classes were fun and actually enjoyable, skill was a thing, all that. But then they started to casual-ify the raiding and dungeons, and it just went downhill from there.

Come WoD, GC leaves and they bring over the Diablo lead, and he makes the classes next-tier braindead while the content is still faceroll easy, and you have what WoW is today.

You've been severely misinformed it would seem. GC was a part of Cata, MoP and WoD which are all terrible expansions in their own right. Thank goodness he had nothing to do with the development of Wotlk before later on when he started to implement his ridiculous casualization. So no, WoW was best when GC had nothing to do with it.

The game was already caualized in Cata, so that's the design philisophy he was following and the reason why the game went to shit.

Yeah, and guess what? MoP was my favorite expansion by far, and I started the week Vanilla launched.

Vanilla and BC were just clunky, not really enjoyable, and everything fought with itself. Wrath was when things made sense, and Cata and MoP just expanded on the new, refined classes we had, and made them feel unique and enjoyable in their playstyles.

And, if you ask me, raiding in Wrath to MoP was the best time I'd ever had in an MMO.

Thing about the classes under his time as class lead... sure they were easy to approach and pick up, and it was kind of easy to get to par DPS / HPS / whatever. But, they also had deceptively high skillcaps, and players who actually put time into their classes to play them without macros and to their fullest potential just blew everyone else away. Like, in MoP, everyone called Fistweaving trolling, and would kick you from raid groups or not do arenas with you. But, I was one of the few Fistweavers on Darkspear, and I was solo healing SoO heroic, and I was 2200 in 2s (Fistweaver + Feral).

Then WoD comes along (the Diablo lead took over the class lead position), and every class is 5 buttons, if that, and the raids were incredibly simplistic, just dodgefests with no real mechanics to anything. Legion is ever so slightly better, but the classes are still mindless, and the content isn't challenging either.

The game went to shit because Activision was like, "Hey! Morons that can't do the content / Assholes who don't want to lift a finger have a lot of money! Pander to them!"

MoP's raiding might've been good, but the rest of the game was complete dog at that point. Cata had an enormous content drought. Classes were fun in Cata, but MoP dumbed it way too much down for me to enjoy it. I agree that WoD was the worst out of the tree, but for someone who didn't really raid during MoP, the content was pretty bad. Legion, content wise, is a great expansion, but yeah, the classes are completely ruined. Competitive PvP dead as a result.

Sure, GC might've been told to casualize the game, but in Cata the opposite happened with difficult dungeons and so on. So idk if he was really told to do that - maybe. It still doesn't justify making all these forced changes in League. It has really been doing downhill this season tbh.

Oh, I'm sure all these forced changes in League are because of Tencent dictating to Riot to make the game easier to play and more profitable.

Cata did have a content drought, but the content we did have was fun, and since they revamped the leveling zones, rolling alts was fun too. Especially Eastern Plaguelands with Fiona and her whole band of weirdos. :P

Except you people scream "the end is here" every couple of months, this isnt new. Every season is the worst, every preseason is the end of LoL. Remember when plants were introduced and people lost their shit? Yea that was also a phase.

League needs to change, like it or not it's what keeps the game fresh, metas and champ rise and fall out of FotM status but it's very rare a champion is actually unplayable, if you invest time into a champ you mix your consistancy with the game's wider changing landscape and it's how it changes that keeps the game fresh.
