You, the player, have imbalanced the game beyond repair.

Everyone wants to do all the damage. They want to get all of the pentakills forever. They think everyone is subservient and secondary and expendable to them. Everyone thinks in the most binary way possible when it comes to the game mechanics: everything does either all the damage, or no damage.

Everyone wants to be the killfastest killfast of Killfastia.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7KNtWrC7vfI

Everyone thinks that every champion they don't happen to be playing as at the moment is either the worst garbage shit tier champion in the game, or the most overpowered noob bait shit tier in the game - not even through personal experience, but through arbitrary stats they don't actually understand - and no matter what, you believe that you are entitled to unlimited power in the late game no matter how much you fuck up until then, that even if the enemy goes 10/0 and you go 0/10, you will somehow be able to beat them by continuing to bum rush them by yourself, with no plan, skill or strategy.

Their only plan is to run at the enemy, dump every skill on them and hope they die first. Then they complain about how imbalanced the game is, that everyone and everything is overpowered and unbeatable and at the same time underpowered and shit tier, and not even in the feast or famine concept.

And you continue to make these mistakes so early, so eagerly and so often that there isn't even a mid game, much less a late game.

The game is a lot more balanced than players want to think it is, but because of the extreme emphasis on everyone wanting to have all of the damage, looking out only for yourself and screwing over your entire team if you think it'll get you a kill before they do, and your lack of flexibility when facing different compositions and champions, you have imbalanced the game beyond repair. You have created a new imbalance that no amount of patches can ever hope to fix. You complain about the ADC meta because everyone has all of the damage, trying to outdamage hyperfed ADCs and other champions like Tryndamere, believing that kills are the only crowd control you will ever need. You complain about the tank meta and how overpowered Soraka is while ignoring the anti-healing and anti-tank items that are already in the game. You use the exact same tactic against every different champion, no matter who they are or what the scenario is.

You make all of the wrong decisions that work against your best interests, and then you complain about the game's imbalance. You refuse to believe that, even for an instant, your choice is the wrong one, or that everyone countered themselves by going all ADC/AD melee assassin against a team that thrives against that. And trying to scream at Riot and force them to balance the game in your narrow-minded, overspecialized favor is only going to cause even further imbalance. There is no way to balance a community-wide mentality that values one factor of the game to the exclusion of all the countless others.

Hey, I was perfectly content to do damage as a tank until the mid game was over and then ADC's built lifesteal. For some reason, people didn't like that. So they bitched and moaned and the tank update happened. Enjoy Cho'gath running up with Righteous Glory and one-shotting your ADC, everybody.

You earned it.

Yeah dude the game being decided strictly by who finishes Ardent first is the players' fault.

FYI your overall point still falls flat because it was Riot who did all this all the way back at the beginning of Season 1/beta. AP shouldn't have ever been created, to ensure mages and assassins fell off after 20 minutes. Supports shouldn't have ever gotten gold generation, 90% of their income should have been for wards.

All the things you're complaining about goes back to Riot's own design decisions meant to intentionally casualize DotA 1.

You want to know how to deal with the Ardent Censer guy? You either attack him from where he cannot strike back (AKA, mage range), have the armor and health to withstand his assault (AKA, be a tank), or use crowd control to STOP him from attacking altogether (goes hand in hand with the tank thing). People force themselves to only look at one of the thousands of elements in this game and declare it the one and only element. All the mechanics are meant to work hand in hand. By focusing exclusively on the one, people create the imbalance.

And yet you and everyone else seem to forcefully ignore even that. You are eager to live your life blind and ignorant of everything around you, committing the exact same mistakes and never learning from them. Hell itself couldn't think of a worse form of torture.

you not gonna do any damage to threaten an adc as a tank even if you can make it to the adc before they even get one hit on you which is not likely at all.

How hard to you have to concentrate to ignore literally everything in the universe? Just about every tank champion has some kind of gap-closer.

Nautilus: Anchor Braum: Jumps to allies, including minions Thresh: Hooks Alistar: Headbutt Blitzcrank: Hooks Leona: Zenith Blade Amumu: Bandage Toss Mao'kai: Targeted gap-closer Zac: Massive jump

Need I go on, or will you just bury your head in the sand again?

Nautilus: Easily out run hook anchor that stops on first minion or FRONT LINE TANK Braum: ally reliant ignoring that your kit is designed to soak up adc damage even if they try to hit some one else. last i checked adcs killed enemy minions from far not walked into meele range first. Thresh: See Nautilus Alistar: you gone take alot of damage before you even reach though you can ult after you reach or you ult early and no one fights you for the first 2 seconds of your ult and they fight you after than because by time you cc is over your ult is also over. Blitzcrank: See Thresh Leona : See Nautilus except its not blocked by minions and that you have negative damage Amumu: See blitz crank Maokai: you be half dead before you reach into range for your targeted gap closer Zac: Massively out of position

back in my day no one built ardent, and it was as strong as it is now, i hate how everything i like and think is good but off meta gets nerfed....... trist......

LordGeovanni1 votes

I built ardent censer since it came out but only on Taric he was the only person i could upkeep it on multiple targets with so that i could keep it on fighters and my adc. It had to get an attack speed buff and gain on hit heal and even then it wasnt used for months

the games balance isn't that bad? This games balance has never been worse. What game are you playing?

Everyone says that every patch, every season, every month, every week, every day, every year. It's unimaginably trite.

Everyone seems to forget what the beta and Season 1 were like. They forget about dodge and Jax's absolute invulnurability against all damage. They forget about Garen and six Sunfire capes. They forget the 2.0 AP ratio on Master Yi and the instant refresh on all his cooldowns on a single champion kill. They forget the Promote summoner spell spam.

The kill-happy sentiment is why everyone thinks towers are too weak. Well, yeah, when you leave tower to die to an enemy backed by two dozen minions, of course it wasn't your fault. It's the game's fault.

The true moral of the story.

i dont, i know when to fight, when to run, i think can i go in now, and i accept my mistakes, had such a derp one earlier today, what i dont like is my feeding adc's ;-;

only marksmen and mages really get more damage Mages through that the defense against them gets weaker and they get more cdr adcs in that the defense against them gets weaker more cdr more % health damage and their actual damage stat getting stronger. also item 3147. if supports are item 3504 assassins are item 3147 adcs have long been item 3031 item 3087 and another crit attack speed item either item 3046 or item 3085 hardly any of them have an identiy out side of these items. one has dash around like a mad man for more damage and the rest has poke enemies to death from beyond your already generous auto attack range. the result of those classes getting more damage is that tanks cant spare a slot for damage nor can fighters

Soraka being meaningfully affected by grievous wounds is the biggest meme.

Lost R2 votes

50% is a massive fucking difference.

Apocalypsic1 votes

50% at the speed and magnitude in which she could already heal on top of multiple ways to self buff that healing and her healing being increased on low HP targets. Grievous wounds does nothing meaningful to her non interactive frontloaded BS healing.

Don't even get me started on how her ult is global and instantaneous but yet the damage counterpart to that ult (Karthus R) has a huge delay, or her nonsensical instantaneous silence that's half of the width of the lane.

Soraka and basically every other enchanter in the game other than Nani are all poorly designed for a competitive game and when they're strong are toxic and game warping champions that take the power of choice away from the enemy team.

That's not the players fault.
