Idea for Cho'Gath Now that He is Back in PBE- More Health Scaling?
For those that don't know, Cho'Gath (specifically his R) is undergoing some rather large changes currently allowing him to gain infinite stacks, removing stack loss on death, adding health scaling to his R, and some other changes. Some have commented on this before, but with Cho'Gath's R's damage now scaling with his ultimate and his R now potentially providing him with infinite health as the game goes on, I have a question: what if all of Cho'Gath's abilities obtained health scaling? Now, I'm not saying remove AP Cho'Gath, but what if his other abilities also scaled with HP? Since his theme is shifting to become an infinitely increasing, T-Rex of death, what if Cho'Gath was given more incentive to just become as BIG health-wise as possible. A champion to where it is normal late game to see them with 6000+ Health, roaming the map and being a huge threat to those who oppose them. I, for one, would love to see more Tanky carries that AREN'T the current, commonly found "Assassins that built Tank" or "Giant balls of stats" that we currently see today. Cho'Gath is unique as a melee champion in that all of his abilities except his R are commonly seen as easy to miss abilities. I simply ask if, perhaps, we could see if Cho'Gath could be turned into League of Legends' own T-Rex antagonist (protagonist?) from Jurassic Park where he is hard to kill and he stomps near the earth shakes in his presence and, unlike most other extremely durable champions, you actually fear for your life.
The up-side of this change is that, of course, Cho'Gath is much more durable and benefits from Tank items more, allowing him to fit into teams slightly better. It might also introduce something unique to Middle Lane if he is kept as a caster. The down-side is that Riot would have to do this correctly or it could end up rather poor. The other down-side is that Cho'Gath, unless he is still built AP afterwards, likely loses some of the offensive benefits that AP items naturally bring.
What do you think?
