rest of the season: people playing weird off meta picks, and champions theyve never touched before in the hopes of getting carried by one of their buddies to unlock the chest of the week.

but this is exactly why this will happen every game. each week everyone gets a chest slot unlocked, so the chances are high that there will always be two or 3 people in every game at the beginning of every week who pick a champ to get carried for the chest.
it will probably get weirder and weirder towards the end of the season, when people are running out of reasonable champs to pick, and pick the few champs they have left no matter where and under what conditions.
it will never end, and only get worse until a new season resets the champions.
