Am I missing it or is there no true defense option vs ad casters.
are all great armor items but there built more to counter dps adcs like 
I feel we need an item tuned to be more effective vs champs like 
who kill you in bursts rather than DOT.
Honestly I think an item like this could be the solution that counters some strong champs without having to touch their personal numbers.

Randuin's Omen gives a good amount of armor and health for general survivability.
Many AD casters rely on assassinating or bursting their target to kill them quickly, so Guardian's Angel can serve to give you a second chance at life.
In addition, most AD casters need to be in melee range to deal the majority of their damage, so they can usually be CCed if one knows how to aim or predict their movements.

is great for an ap champ doesn't help anyone else. I mean Trist can grab a Zhonyas for a last item and make use of the ap but what use would fiora or vayne have for it.
And 
is a late game last item thing that wouldn't be a great 2nd item to build. Also it's cd is probably 5 times longer than any ad casters rotation cd.

Going off what you said about effective health being enough, why would you need an attack speed slow or a damage return on an item if just buying enough resistance is enough. The idea is that it ads item variety. Do you want to buy omen for health, armor and a counter to the enemy jinx. Or do you want to buy new item that gives health armor and a passive to counter the enemy zed.
