Aptest21 votesfrom my current journey into superlow elo i will tell you this: there may be some good lux support players.
but right now lux is the poster child for people making a poor attempt at playing a damage support without knowing what they are doing.
At my elo, you'll meet more junk luxes (in sup role) than any other junk support. And you'll only very rarely meet a legit lux support.
So what can i tell you? I see lux and im already conditioned to think she's trash.

What annoys me is when they don't know the matchups and think every ADC can go aggro on every other ADC, when just from their kit and base stats, some ADCs have a much higher chance of losing a trade in the early levels. But some peeps don't care, then rage on you if you didn't follow their reckless engagements.

You don't have much AP to properly utilize the passive to begin with, it brings no utility and it's ridiculously expensive on top of that. I mean it's expensive enough for a solo laner, unfeasible for a support unless you're taking CS and or kills.

Arakadia1 votesNaut and Leo are tanks, so they don't offer ONLY CC. Atleast from my POV. Because they can be the team's tank, sort of.
Also Leo does give her team some magic damage through her passive.
Sion also has his armor shred and is a tank.
Brand and Vel Koz do not work with a true support build. They might get an Eye of Watchers, but if they dont build AP they will be very unneffective.

Janna offers movement speed to allies, shields to allies, damage buffs to allies, and heals to allies.
Thresh offers insane mobility, a shield, and can be pretty tanky.
Alistar too can be the teams' tank, while offering a heal.

Leo offers magic damage, and tankyness. She can be the teams tank, its just not necessarily the most optimal thing.
Nautilus doesn't need AP to be effective and again, it is a tank. He can also clear waves, unlike lots of tank supports.
Braum offers resistance boosts, poke, and his amazing ice wall.
Alistar offers a heal, used to offer AD, and can be a tank.
Shen offers shields and AA blocks. Used to offer life tap.
Taric offers invulnerability, a shield, AND a heal.

These can all be capitalized on by items and since a few of them have some built in AP already, 1 or 2 damage items still gives you enough to insta-gib a squishy while still having the necessary or optimal support items.

I don't see how does it make any difference that you played those games after the post. You still tried to play the support sympathy card on the boards, while straight up going ap, probably ignoring the adc in champ select whatever he was saying. You were trying to make adc carry players look bad while you were being a douche yourself no matter if it was before or after.
