Counterplay is good, but I feel like Bard has too much of it...

Counterplay is like fat. A small amount of it is good for you, but too much will make you obese. Bard is probably the most obese champion in this game (in a manner of speaking). You can see where his meeps are, his 'q' can be dodged, you can follow him through his portals, destroy his health shrines, and his ult actually helps his enemies most of the times he uses it. If he ults an ally or himself it gives his enemies more time to get close enough to burst/kill them. If he ults an enemy it gives their allies more time to get close enough to support whoever he ulted after the stasis wears off.

Anyways, can we consider removing some of the counterplay in Bard's kit? No other champion in this game has as much of it as he does and I don't think he needs so much of it.

A good Bard player will be able to use the ultimate to properly to either engage, take the enemy carries out of a teamfight for a few seconds, or disengage. He can also go through the portal and then the enemy follows them straight into a stun, and because Bard and his allies move faster through the portal, this means he can escape pretty quickly using the E + Q combo. Also, only Bard sees the chimes on the minimap, and their position doesn't really matter to his enemies unless they're trying to predict where he'll go next so they can set up an ambush. Sure, his Q is a skillshot, but it's one of the easier skillshots to land, and once it hits someone, it doesn't matter if they dash/flash or do anything else to escape, if it hits a minion or a wall after, they're stunned. And, yes, you can destroy the W, but a good Bard places them in a spot where they're harder for the enemy to get to and destroy, such as behind his team or under the turret. He has a lot of counterplay, but you can actually play around it and turn most of his weaknesses into strengths if you're good at him.

Honestly there are so many other champions with worse counter play. Like Nasus. Just pressure him and he won't be able to do anything. And Bard is one of the strongest supports out there in the hands of a capable Bard player. To the point where it is scary
