Opinion on players calling champions "No brainers"

First I want to say that I am an Akali main, so if you want downvote me for that, feel free, noone stops you.

Now, to the main thread:

What's your opinion on players who call other players "noobs for playing a braindead champion"?

In my case, the only ones calling me a noob for that were a Yasuo in a game I got a Pentakill as Akali, a bunch of Annies after getting rekt in lane, a Veigar who got the same treatment and in the latest game, a Jinx. On the other hand, Zed, Ekko, Talon, Ahri or Oriana players that I have met haven't said anything regarding me playing a "braindead champion" even if they lost the lane.

You clearly separated veigar, jinx, annie and yasuo from ori, zed etc... showing that you DO think some champs are easier than others, you just dont use the word braindead.

Also yea, some champs required very little skill beyond game knowledge, but that's okay not every champ needs to be jhin or zed.

Yes, some champions are easier than others, but none are braindead. An easier to play champion gives you more time to focus on game play and improving key aspects, while the more complex ones have higher counter play potential, but in the end, all that matters is to have fun and that +17 (If you are playing ranked).

I don't need to stomp you with Azir to be a better player. (not you in particular, but you get what I mean)

In the end, mechanics and game knowledge go hand in hand, but that doesn't refer exclusively to champion mechanics, but positioning, csing, comboing stuff (if you have any) and the basics. Some players are in silver because they don't have the mechanics, even if their game knowledge is gold. Indeed it's true that game knowledge is more important than mechanics, but the opposite is true as well, it all depends on the bracket you are playing. In lower levels, mechanics are more important that game knowledge because everyone has little of it, so if you can do your stuff better than the enemy, you win. Even a monkey can right click with Jinx if he's got items and win, while in higher levels, game knowledge becomes more important due to the fact that almost everyone has it, so you need to outsmart them instead of just outfarm them.

You want a brainless champ ? Pantheon Malphite Annie Garen . Why i call these champion brainless ? Its pretty simple its because they have unavoidable ability who require point click and has burst attached with cc like stun and silence armor shred aoe and i skip . Akali isnt a braindead champ but ppl seem to not understand that every champion fed as fck with item can one shot you so dah .

Anyone who says you suck because your playing a braindead championsect n are the same people who play sin and think they are good because they play him regardless of the fact that they feed 95% of the time. It especially happens with yi. I know because I main to since shyvana has gone down the shitter and you is the closest champion to shyvana since they are basically played the same. The only difference is shyvana has a skillshot and relies more on on-hit damage. He also carries and I also recently got a pentakill because yi. If it exists in the game and you say people suck for playing a braindead champion, their argument is invalid b cause if it's in the game, the player has every right to use it of they can and know how to. Let's say I played Annie and was focused on game knowledge. If all. Did was focus on game knowledge and went against someone who focused on mechanics but barely any game knowledge, game knowledge would win because there's less to worry about because the other guy would do stupid shit.

Play what you like. I frequently go from playing Morgana, Talon or Malzahar to playing Leblanc, Gangplank, or Zed. It doesn't change my skill level if I pick a champion with a simple kit, in fact champions with simple kits often have to work harder to be unpredictable against higher level people which is a unique level of skill in itself.

I'm playing so much Akali because I have fun with her and I am trying to improve my game on her, tho my 3 mains are Akali, Ahri and LeBlanc, so when Akali is banned or picked, I just take LeBlanc and own the lane, since I know her inside out and I also have a clear advantage on her by match-up.

I once had a game vs a smurf Akali. "I will destroy you" was the start of her 1-14 finish. I still hate Cailyn for not seeing she was killed by Akali.....

I only ask you don't relate the champion being played to the players that accuse you...

People tell me that Yasuo is a brain dead champ. I play Akali as well, and have been told this. I have been told this when playing Zed, Orianna, Ekko, Ahri, etc.

Players will usually say things like, "brain dead champ" when they are playing ANY champion that they "feel" is mechanically tough or difficult to play and you are owning them. If you make it look easy, they will say its because it IS easy, to make them feel better about themselves.

I play Akali, and Yasuo, and though I would call Akali a "faceroll" champ (meaning she snowballs SUPER hard) I would by no means call her brain dead. Getting ahead takes effort. Champions like Akali have fewer problems than most when it comes to keeping that lead.

I am not relating the champion to the player, I am just stating that the only people who called me a noob for playign a brain dead champion are Annies, Jinx, Veigar and co. while I got congratulated by an enemy who was playing Fiora for being good on Akali, while on the other hand, Annies especially seem to have a problem with me.
