DELETE Adaptive Helm!!!

I'm sick of playing toplane battle mages and being completely and utterly worthless the moment my lane opponent buys adaptive helm. I literally just went against a garen last game that would tank both me AND sej for almost an entire minute and still kill both of us with no help.

How is it fair to mages that just one item completely shuts them down for the rest of the game? I don't understand that. How would it feel for ADC's if all a tank had to do was buy one broken armor item, and instantly they had to spend over 40 seconds to kill their target??

I'm just getting sick of this game and if I build defensive items, I still die AND have no damage, but if my opponents buy defensive items, they take NO damage AND can still kill me with ease.

How would it feel for a tank if all an ADC had to do was build one item... Oh wait.

There are many types of champion who get shut down early on by a single item. This is nothing new, and I'm honestly glad Adaptive Helm was added in, so one of the more oppressive champion types can no longer just win lane.

cough item 3135 exists. It'll reduce his MR by an amount roughly equal to what Helm gives you.

Unless you had literally no AP, and he was fed to insanity, you're lying. Nobody can tank anything for a minute straight, unless you were allowing Garen to get his passive up to heal.

Lol I thought people just kept saying it's a meme item? People always forget that this item is also called Bane of Teemo.

No. Players need some sort of recourse against champions like singed and teemo. Otherwise they would just be oppressive. It is good that something exists to counter them.

EDIT: _ just saw your match history, that garen was way ahead of you, in situations like that it is better to stop trying to fight them in-lane and just get ready for teamfights when other opponents will be available to stomp on._

Don't blame adaptive helm for your bad time. Learn from the experience and stop trying to fight your lane opponents after they buy it. There is more to the game than just laning phase, if you can bide your time and farm up you will still be a powerhouse late game and you will be able to get your sweet sweet revenge.

keep in mind that killing ~15 minions gives you the same amount of gold as a champion kill. So if you manage the minion wave so that it freezes or crashes at times that grant you more cs and cost the lane opponent cs, you will come out ahead of them the same as if you had just killed them repeatedly.
