ADC main here. I have no problems with tanks. Assassins are a bitch though.

I main adc and support. The only problem I see with the tank meta is that we're going to see a lot more of Kalista, Vayne, and Jinx.

The tanks are not the problem with the tank meta.

cough cough and Varus But seriously, people have yet to realize how strong Varus is and how hard it is to itemize against him.

Fair point. I have played Varus more than I've played against him, so I wasn't so worried about seeing him in bot lane. But . . . I guess I see how a 1625-range snipe would be annoying to some.

On the bright side, Miss Fortune might see some more play.

I've been spamming Varus and MF a lot lately. They are so strong, and I really expect for people to pick them up soon. Varus does a lot of percent health magic damage, and MF has a passive that, late game, lets her do about an additional 150+ magic per aa. Both of these champs make it hard for tanks to successfully itemize against them if they get ahead.

Yeah, MF has such quirky scaling, but against a tank meta, I see some interesting applications.

It isn't that mf and varus aren't strong. It's that they are so easily shut down by dive comps and highly mobile champs.

I agree with the latter, but not the former. It's all about positioning, and as a matter of fact, Varus was popular in the LCS when dive comps were a thing. Why? Because his ult allowed him to isolate people who dived onto him, and then he and his team would pick him apart. I can see where the issue would lie with mf, but Varus actually thrives in these types of situations.

That was a long time ago. Situations where vi q, or flash q, r zed w r e q ignite dead are far more common.

Zed play isn't that common anymore in the LCS, sure a few people still play him here and there, but he isn't as popular a pick as people like to believe. Vi play is also going down with the new patch.

Who cares about what's being played in the lcs. Varus's and mf's weakness remain the same. Really you can insert any hard intiate with high mobility burst and get the same result. Malphone, zack, see, amu, Leona. Then add a leblanc, Kat, talon, and still get the same result. Dead immobile adc lol clear weaknesses, easy counterplay and counter picks.

That was what I was originally talking about and Zed and Vi were what you brought up. And it's all about positioning, if you are good enough, you can play any champ in any situation and thrive. Sure, some are less favorable, but it's nothing you cant work around.

What I'm trying to say is, remember what people used to say about DrMundo Shyvana and Renekton during early S4? Amumu Sejuani can do it a lot better and they have cc ults.

Probably no one. There are a lot of people happy with how things are right now. Unless someone finds something new that creates a problem I think they wont change anything.

Junglers in general have a hard time getting fed. When the tank meta was top lane it could create power problems in that the tanks would get too tanky and handle a whole team. It's much heather for tanks to be strong in the jungle and situational in top lane.

If anything will keep things as they are now. It's the spam of LCS threads of happy people with the changes. Lee might even go a day without a nerf thread.

The only problem I have with the tank meta is that there are now only two junglers I ever see Amumu Sejuani . Sure Lee, Vi, J4, etc are all still great, but they're either banned regularly or you can ban these 2 new hot picks and get smacked by the old ones.
