he literally just outsustains you to win the lane, ok your ranged? aa him lol you take more damage from minions and then he just sustains off your harass with his passive.

Massive 5000 range big ass silence, i thought rito hated silence? no one win lane against him. I mean its #nothejunglersjobtogank right? 1 silence late game onto the carry wins you the fight.

Pls dont go like hurhurhur you play assassin get countered stop crying huehue. no just stop silence counters everyone and that is cancerous to this game

The only way I see Cho'gath silence being a problem is:

A.- You instalocked a melee midlaner, and thus you deserve to lose. If you instalocked Katarina/Zed into Chogath, get rekt.

B.- you are eating every single Q he uses AND you arent warding.

Basically, git good and learn to counterpick and safepick.

oh no, not a sustain laner who has an ability to shut out the aggressive caster laners, whatever will we do? could we play farm champs like Nasus against top cho? or utility laners like Orianna against mid cho?

Late game? any CC can win you the fight. Stun the carry and kill him on the initial engage? you probably won the fight. blind the ADC? they just lost a shit ton of damage for a few seconds. Root, knockup, suppress, polymorph? all can turn the tide alone if used correctly.

If you can't handle silence on a tanky mage like Cho, I can't imagine how you functioned in this game when they had it on assassins like Kass, LB, and Talon, now THAT shit was broken, getting 100-0ed and not even being able to inflict enough damage to make them B.

I love all the facts in this post. Especially the 5000 range on his W. I also like when people remember his ultimate, which supposedly 1-shots tanks. He wins lanes, and prevents enemies from walking any further 600 range from Cho'gath.

Yeah some people like to exaggerate. Though Cho'gath's silence is rather annoying to play against, but it is quite a short range. Also, stuns counter everyone better. Should be just remove those too, since they're more common and more annoying? Why not just remove all CC in the game so you can play pure assassins and ADCs and not be punished?

how is his silence short ranged its 700 LOL pre kass riftwalk range

and stuns are either close ranged or long ranged skillshot that can be dodged easily if you're on the west coast. meanwhile his silence is instant no counterplay when you get within 700 range of him

If that's how you view counterplay, then there is little hope for you to actually understand what it actually is.

I'm betting they are going to nerf the range based on how much he's being used in mid now, at least that's all I hope they do as he's easy to counter, but a clutch counter pick to Yasuo / Kat etc.

lol CC on the carry late game wins you the game. Don't see the ryze qq threads anywhere, and don't see how an adc will get silenced by cho with that fantastic mobility cho has and the obviously massive range a tiny cone has.

If cho is really a problem, pick teemo, vayne or anyone who isn't super reliant on spells. They all stomp on him. Cleanser's like GP beat him too.
