I took it in a game today and I got ulted probably 4 times by a Zed before it was even available. I could have just bought a friggin stopwatch. I never took it before even when it was League of Stopwatch, but the one time I think I may need it in a game, and I'm completely useless by the time I get to use it.
Illabethe3 votesto be fair..... maybe you need to learn other ways than standing still to avoid dying. I've spent maybe 5 years playing this game and rarely get Zhonya's because I want to figure out how to survive those kits that need Zhonya's..... without using one.
Just because you have a Zhonya's doesn't mean you should use it as a crutch.

Practically every AP champion MUST buy zhonya's.

Zed/Fizz Level 6 is practically a guarantee because you don't have the damage they do early enough to kill them(except Fizz maybe) and you don't have the mobility yet to avoid their abilities. Also I was facing a Zed who literally didn't even feel like he had a delay on his shuriken or E when he ulted, making it impossible to avoid the damage from his ult.
I don't know why you're even commenting this anyways, I told you I didn't ever even used stopwatch when EVERYONE was using it. It feels more to me like you just wanted to make an comment to undermine me. Also Zhonya's use is almost always generally used to avoid ults, and the early game ults are the worst, but even if it was the second, or the third, or the fourth time I was ulted, I couldn't have used it. I would probably have a full zhonya's by the time I could use stopwatch if I had rushed it. I'm talking about the use of the rune, not anything else.
