Azir's nerf

As many of you know Azir was recently nerfed. What Riot did was to take away one part of Azir's passive away entirely, without replacing it (the first time I'VE heard of this happening) and, instead of him gaining attack speed through cooldown reduction, he now gains attack speed with every point that he puts into his W, Arise.

I have not heard of any further word about Riot addressing the bugs in his kit however and while I am always happy to see an extremely powerful champion get nerfed I think it to be unfair to nerf him and NOT fix the glitches in his abilities (for example, sometimes his ult doesn't push enemies back...sometimes it just goes in the completely wrong direction). I also think that completely removing a passive is kinda cheap. That was what made Azir special because he could build CDR and also get AS, both of which was vital in his kit. Now all he has for his passive is his turret, which is also bugged (but not badly bugged, it always functions as a turret) which is not too great considering how squishy the turret is. If they thought Azir was too potent of a champ couldn't they have just nerfed the scaling of his passive? He used to get a whopping 1.25% AS from CDR. They could have made that just 1% or maybe even .8%.

So what do you think? Do you agree with what I'm saying here?

it was more of a small redesign, the extra attack speed with Arise makes him very powerful with no investment

Yes but it also puts it in a skill that is either leveled up second or last (or at least used to be). You ususally want to max out his Q first, not his W. Also, a small redesign? It removed an entire passive and put it into an ability. Like what if they took out Yasou's double crit chance passive and added it to his windwall so that you got extra scaling crit chance with each point you put into windwall?
